"We had a phenomenal installer named Nick Garcia who got our install done quickly and we are very satisfied. Our kitchen looks like something out of a magazine. Thank you Nick Garcia."

"It took 19 days to side our house. The job was huge. Brian and his working partner paid special attention to the myriad of details. When they were done, the cleaned up their work site before heading out. I couldn't be more pleased with this service. I am just sorry I didn't have them build my kitchen cabinets too! If I could give an A+, I would do so!"

"Very professional and skilled at what they do. On time and efficient. Repaired sheet rock, filled all holes before painting great room. Painters were all very pleasant and careful to cover up everything and clean up everything when they were done. My painted kitchen cabinets are beautiful!! Jesus - their cabinet guy -is a pro at finishing cabinets. They took great care to caulk, fill holes and sand before painting. The cost was very reasonable for the time spent getting everything done and the quality of work! I will definitely hire again!"

"Ralph came out and took the measurements and provided an estimate within a few days of contact. The original plan was to get the counters installed within a week or so. It took a little longer than that but the delays were primarily because of bad weather. For the most part I was happy with the work the installers did. Most of the tops looked great. There was one top which was poorly done. I called Ralph and he sent the installers out to fix it the same day. They ended up needing to cut a new piece of stone so it took 4 or 5 days before they got it fixed but it all looks good now. My only real complaints would be the installers were a bit messy and didn't clean up real well after themselves. They also got a little sloppy when cutting on the cabinets under the sink to make it fit. I only give overall A ratings to companies who pull a job off without a hitch. Ralph was easy to work with and addressed all my concerns reasonably. He also responded well and thanked me for bring up the few issues I had. Hopefully it helps everyone out in the future. Very happy with the stone and overall value. In the end I would recommend Take-Us-For-Granite. <br />"

"This is the second time we used R & R . Worked with project manager Ronnie. He came to the house to see the projects. He then coordinated his crew and sent Chad to repair the holes in the drywall and had his roof guy, Isaac, to access the situation on the roof to repair the leaks. Very timely and great follow through. Craftsmen are great, they are reliable, professional, and reliable! All involved were a pleasure to work with."

"We wanted white oak and to redesign the kitchen. He was very helpful and was very ygood with a lot of changes. His quality was great, everything fit. We did not use him for installation, we had our carpenter do this. I chose to finish the cabinets myself. He did not deliver the cabinets on the date expected due to personal circumstances, however. He did make everything fine in the end. I would recommend him to anyone, he is a quality craftsman."

FAQs for cabinets reface projects in Saint-paul, AR

Absolutely. Refacing returns 65% to 80% of your investment at resale, and you get an updated kitchen right now. Because you’re not paying for new boxes or demo work, the price lands well below complete replacement but still delivers a fresh, custom look that buyers—and you—notice every time you walk in.

To trim costs, start by pricing a high-quality paint or gel stain instead of full refacing—stain alone can be one-third the price of full refacing. Keep existing hinges and pulls if they’re in good shape, and shop sales for sandpaper, primer, and sealer. The sweat equity is real, but so are the savings, and a careful DIY job can still leave your cabinets looking sharp for years to come.

A professional crew needs only three to five days to reface a standard kitchen, although a larger layout or intricate door style may add one to two days. Compare that with the several weeks a full cabinet swap can drag on. In other words, you get your space back fast, often before the paint on the new doors is even fully cured.

Yes, you can replace just the cabinet doors and drawer fronts without covering the cabinet boxes. Cabinet refacing involves installing new doors and drawer fronts while applying veneers to existing cabinet boxes. If you’re satisfied with the condition of your cabinets, swapping doors and drawer fronts reduces labor and materials, saving you time and cost. Always consult a professional to confirm compatibility and ensure a seamless, high-quality finish.

Most cabinet refacing projects do not require removing countertops because professionals can access doors and drawers around existing surfaces. However, if your countertop overhang prevents full access to the cabinet boxes, contractors may need to lift the countertop to install veneers properly temporarily. Discuss this with your refacing specialist during the on-site estimate so you know exactly what the project entails.
