"I was very impressed with Sentri Homes - their customer service was excellent. They sent a subcontractor to install some vinyl laminate in my bathroom and he ended up getting glue all over the carpet in our bedroom. The sub ended up ghosting both me and Sentri, leaving me stuck with a ruined carpet. Sentri stuck with me for over a month to get the carpet replaced with the identical original and to get the vinyl job 100% completed. The carpet was a Home Depot exclusive and Sentri handled everything with them. I will be using Sentri for a much bigger renovation I have coming up soon, because I know that they will make sure everything gets done right no matter what problems come up. The vinyl looks great too."

"When we decided to remodel our basement I contacted several contractors and was kind of surprised at the lack of response I got from a number of contractors. It literally took weeks for one contractor to call me back and some just never bothered. This was NOT the case with Fair & Square. They were very responsive from the start and after meeting with me to review the details of what we wanted to do to finish out our basement they provided me a ballpark estimate for the project. They didn’t come in as the cheapest bid but it did fit within by budget and to that point they had been the easiest to work with and seemed the most interested in the project. We signed on to have them complete the job including adding a fireplace, sound insulation in the ceiling and my favorite, the Onyx shower surround in the bathroom. They took several weeks to complete the project and were great about making sure we knew what to expect and when. If an issue came up they let us know and offered reasonable solutions. The project came in within the cost range they originally proposed and we ended up with exactly what we were looking for. I couldn’t really ask for more than that!"

"We decided to finally update the main bathroom in our home and wanted to have it done for our sons graduation party. We meet with Bob and told him what we had in mind, he worked with his team and sub-contractors, and  came through on everything  and then some. Bob was able to get the job done on time and budget.  The crew  used drop  clothes and pick up after themselves daily,if it wasn't for my curiosity  to see how it was going each day when I got home, that I had to go open the door to see what got done while we where at work .we wouldn't have know that there were workmen in the house.
I will be giving Bob a call again when we are ready for are next update. We are so happy with our updated bathroom the fixtures, vanity, sink ...  it looks so rich .  Loving it!"

Vitaly (owner) came to my house to see what needed to be done and to offer suggestions.  He was polite and professional.

Viktor came to work on time a few days later to start the demolition. The dumpster was not there the first day so he came back the next day to start. No problem.  Viktor and his helper worked very hard to demolish  the bathroom.  They cleaned up each day before they left.

There was some mold on an adjacent bedroom wall , which was not surprising, since the some of the old bathroom shower tiles were missing.  Vitaly thought that we could find some kind of a solution to get rid of the mold, but  none of the stores had a powerful enough formula to do the job right.  After a  few days, I decided it was best to have that wall removed completely.   Vitaly asked Viktor to give a bid to remove the bedroom wall.  Viktor did not want to take on that job.  Vitaly then gave me a name of a contractor who specializes in mold removal.  I hired that company and in about another week, the mold wall was carefully removed and replaced with another bedroom wall. 

Before the bedroom mold wall was removed, Viktor installed an outside vent cap for the bathroom fan.   There is a small section of roof (approx. 18 inches) with a pitch extending from the side of the house above the bathroom ceiling where the vent roof cap could be placed.

 Viktor installed  a vent cap, but it was the wrong type.  He installed a wall vent cap, not a roof vent cap.  Also, the vent was installed over the shingles and flashing, instead of under them. If left as is, wind and rain  would be able to come into the exhaust pipe or leak under the shingles and enter the bath fan/house.  I notified Vitaly about it.  He called me back and said that they would fix it.  He said that Viktor told him that he had installed that type of vent before.   I said to Vitally that I would remove it and install a new, correct type of vent.

After the bedroom wall was replaced, I decided  that I did not want to use Vitaly's services any more.  I called Viatly and talked to him about the situation and my decision.  He was very polite and listened to what I had to say.  We agreed that it was best to settle on the charges I owed him and move on.    

 I've called Angie's List a few times, since, to talk about the situation.    One of the things that I found from the Angie's List Representative was that Vitaly's company had already been paid by Angie's List.  This surprised me, since I thought a contractor would get paid for a Big Deal only AFTER the work had been done.

  At this point, I want to be sure that Vitaly's company gets paid for the work they did. (they have been paid, amount is unknown) 

  Also, I would like to get a refund for $3700.00     I feel that I owe Vitaly $1300.00 for the work his company did.   My figure includes an adjustment for replacing the bath fan vent and for the extra 5 days the dumpster sat in my yard.

I would appreciate a resolution to this situation so that all 3 parties can move on.  Thank you.

This job involved not only required installing the new Pella door/sidelights but also staining and painting trim pieces surrounding the door, all of which were matched perfectly to the existing trim. "Damian and his crew did an amazing job on my basement. I had at least two other contractors flake out on me and I was thinking no one would want to tackle my basement. I had multiple floods in my basement and needed a lot of sheetrock repair. I also needed a stud wall, sheetrock and electrical run for a wall I had to tear down (sump pump and drain tile installed by someone else). They handled the job no problem. Communication was excellent, they showed up on time and I never felt like they were "in the way." The workers were always polite and they left a clean work space. If I ever need more work done I would not hesitate to call them again. I feel like I have my basement back."
