"Transport happened two days late even after an uplift in service to assure the vehicle move happened before or on the target move date. My main issue was the communications of an issue, I was informed the morning of the day the vehicle was suppose to be off the property. Then there was no projected date for resolving the issue that I could pass on the the new property owner and no lead time to allow me to find other carriers to handle the move. Auto Transport - United Freight Of America did continue to work the issue and a new transport was provided two days later however I found out about that 1 hour before the truck was going to meet me at the property. I had arranged to have an alternate transport occur on Friday just before I got the call however I was able to cancel the Friday transport. The C rating would have been a B if there was more communication and if there was a maybe selection for "would I use them again" I would have selected that."

"We have nothing but great things to say about working with this company. While they are small, they certainly deliver like a big company in terms of quality and responsiveness. John is their business guy, and he met us more than once to scope our job and discuss the details. We found SR on Angie's List, and they were very highly rated. John is good rep to bring in business; he listens and offers suggestions, but is not pushy. In other words, he does not oversell what they do. I liked that. Once we decided to go with SR, we inked the contract after working closely with John on what SR would provide and what we would provide in terms of materiel, which was just about everything. SR bought very little for our project, which is what I preferred. We also did a  good portion of our demolition, which was not an issue with SR. <br />     Brad led the remodel effort, working primarily with Ryan. Brad has 20+ years in the business and it shows in the type of things he can do, and the quality that's delivered. We trusted Brad and Ryan all the way and they were very easy to work with on a daily basis. Many times we'd keep in touch via email with Brad, sometimes as early as 4AM since I tend to rise early. I would say our job was one of, if not their largest remodel, job and it required some complex work, especially on wall support (we expanded an opening in our wall) which required a support beam to added.  Brad and Ryan did all of this with no issues, and were enormously versatile in what they could do. The only hiccup we really had in the project was our ceiling, which we did replace. Once the ceiling put in and painted, it cracked in few places and had to repaired again, and repainted again. Came out the second time looking just fine, as Brad assured me it would. While this did set us back a bit, it all worked out fine. <br />     Given all the work, we are thrilled with the outcome. Cabinets, counter tops, LOTS of flooring, new appliances, a brick fireplace, wall expansion, new ceiling, etc...most of the main floor got a major face lift. Our neighbors and my family saw the final product and were stunned. What more can you say. These guys know what they're doing and they're great to work with. <br />     We are very pleased with Striking and will go back to them  again if we do more work. For our first ever remodeling project, this one was super successful. We highly recommend them as a company you can trust and will be very happy with their work."
