"It is pretty unsettling when you allow a company to create a bunch of holes in your house to install replacement windows. You hope you can trust them to have restored the integrity of your home when they are finished. Sun Home Improvement provided quality replacements windows that were a huge improvement. But what really impressed me was how the company stood behind their product and services. Had two problems. A window had been broken in shipment. It happens. They contacted me and said they had already ordered a replacement to install as soon as it arrives. Second problem was the patio door had a flaw in the glass that was not easy to see but cracked several weeks after installation. I sent them a picture of the crack. They ordered a replacement door and installed it with no hassle. Problems happen. What you want is a company that makes it right when problems come up. Sun Home Improvement is a stand up company that stands behind their work."

Mike worked efficiently completing the demolition of the previous stairs and railing in one day. He identified and corrected structural deficiencies from the previous construction and completed the remodel and finish work within the time he originally stated it would take to complete the job. He was even able to stay on-budget with the exception of the additional repairs identified during demolition. Even then, he discussed any changes early and found effective solutions that didn’t significantly increase the cost of completing the work. "My wife and I purchased 30 Sunrise vinyl windows and a sliding door from Kotch’s Windows-N-More and had them installed in Aug 2017. Our home was built in 1998 and the original wood windows were in need of replacement. Mike Kotch and his team were fantastic! Mike was very knowledgeable and professional and I was pleased that he did not use any high-pressure sales techniques during the bid process. His extensive experience in the windows industry was very evident during our consultation with him. We received 3 different quotes for windows and we found that Mike’s quote (which price-wise fell in the middle of the 3) provided the most value and allowed us to get exactly what we wanted (including a really neat Sunrise sliding glass door with shutters built on the inside of it, and 3 large picture windows that the other competitor said would need to be 6 smaller windows instead of 3). Mike’s installers were also top notch. We were very impressed with the work they did, and the care and attention to detail that they had. (Mike’s installers came highly recommended to us from a few different neighbors of ours, which is one of the main reasons we decided to go with Mike.) The installers consisted of a 2-man crew and they were able to complete our job in 3 days. They did a great job cleaning up too. Very happy with my overall experience with Kotch’s Windows-N-More and would recommend them to anyone looking to replace their windows!"

"A-1 Roofing & Siding did a fine job on my roof. There was concern that the plywood base was spongy but it turned out that it only needed a new sheet or two. While up there, they noticed that the chimney needed some minor repair that they were able to take care of. There was a crew below to clean up as the roofers dropped the old shingles, etc. A new ice/water barrier was installed and new flashing around the chimney. 50 year shingle warranty and 10 year labor warranty was included. There was concern that the dumpster would damage my new concrete driveway (3 mos. old), but there was no damage from that. All in all, the job only took about 2 days to finish. I would definitely hire them again for this kind of job."
