"Took waaaay to long. 6 months, albeit, we started in late November but it was the nicest winter in history. Promise was late February for completion. I finally conceded in June that they had finally met all contractual obligations. There were several reasons it took so long from my point of view: not showing up when they say they are, poor workmanship requiring lots of rework (all caught by me, not the so called Project Manager), no dedicated project manager, unclear instructions/requirements flowed down to the contractors sent to do the work, company too focused on the next jobs instead of completing this one, etc..I could go on and on...Damaged my driveway and blamed the driveway even though I asked upfront if there would be any harm to it. "No we do this all the time" was the response. Damaged my neighbors lawn and I'm still fixing that. Overall, a bad experience. I'd rate them a "D" but they did eventually fix most of the quality problems. The rest I have, or will take care of. Cutting the ties with this contractor. Would not recommend."

"I requested a quote by email, clearly specifying it was for 2 cracks and sending 4 pictures (2 from the inside, 2 outside) as requested. One crack was twice as long as the other one, very different and salt leftover from water infiltration. I received a quote for $500 which detailed the total cost, without any mention of additional costs. After the technician performed the work in less than 30 minutes, trouble started: he told me he was directed to work on just one, not two foundation cracks. I received a call from the same woman that set everything and she first stated I only request a quote for a crack: I went back to the email and it clearly stated "quote for 2 cracks", she claimed she got confused by the pictures and thought I sent the same crack from different angles. Honestly, they are in the crack business, I don't know how one could get confused by this. She insisted that, despite her making a mistake, I'd need to pay more. I got a call from the owner which argued with me about paying $350 more, that the quotes I got from other companies were also about a single crack, that their quote has different pricing per crack (I verified, it did not, there was just a single price). After I mentioned this seemed to me a bait and switch technique, he argued some more but in the end agreed to accept the quoted price."

He recommended drilling out a trough on three sides of the basement, installing French drains, then covering them with stone and gravel before repaving, plus adding double sump pumps at the lowest point of the basement. John came out personally with his crew for three consecutive days, broke out the basement, carried it all away bucket by bucket, installed the French drains and double sump pumps and a new grated basin in front of the entrance door, repaved the basement and hardly left a speck of dust behind. He was thorough, meticulous, professional, very easy to talk to and happy to explain whatever we wanted to know."
