Customers say: True professional

"I was looking for low maintenance flowerbeds in my front yard and Carolina Landscaping gave me exactly what I asked for. The work was very well done and communication was great from the beginning. A quick drawing was provided to show the design work as we were completely removing shrubs and planting new ones. I am definitely planning to use them for my backyard project."

"They came out and did a good job. I wouldn't buy it again. It was fine. I don't remember there being a problem. We still had stuff in the backyard that we had to get rid of ourselves. It was just how the deal was."

"After waiting 3 weeks for the original installer of my irrigation system to help me, with no appointment in site, I turned to Angie's List. Brandon of Aairic's Irrigation and Sod Works came to my home the very next day, and within 30 minutes he and his team had my system working perfectly. That was 3 days ago, and now my landscape looks vibrant again. I will definitely call Brandon again when needed."

"Everything wasa great experience, including Willy's initial encounter with his services and
bidding up until the final project.
His crew was great once we were able to better converse with language
challenges. We all became quite informal and relaxed for almost a month's
effort. Initially were updating some areas but with the positive results with
Willy and his teams we expanded with additional renovations (10 yr. home).
Was a delay due to a flooring company's failure to properly order the
prescribed footage of ceramic tile and hardwood panels. This not a result to
communication via Willy or us but rather the employee dropped the ball on
his/her mathematical calculations per conversion principals. Owner rectified
with discounted unit pricing of materials. This resulted in our decision to
implement additional improvements and work for Willy!
Willy did not bid initially for carpet installation nor stipulate he performed
this service but upon our inquiring Willy confirmed on having a team. Willy's
bid was less than the large flooring business (local & national) including
large national home improvement centers locally.
We are both pleased with this local business and the personnel of Willy's Tile!
We will utilize them again, that's for certain. One cannot go wrong in
selecting his business with home improvements! Only wish we had known Willy and
his associates sooner!
Please us them you shall not be disappointed!

FAQs for interlocking pavers for driveways & floors installation projects in Salem, SC

With proper maintenance, permeable pavement can last for over 20 years. Bi-annual vacuuming prevents clogs from debris and sediment, extends the pavement’s lifespan, and helps you avoid costly driveway repairs. Permeable pavement often has a shorter lifespan in areas with heavy traffic or harsh weather conditions.

Pervious and porous usually refer to pouring asphalt or concrete—which is a single massive object—but with enough small holes to allow for even drainage. This is also sometimes called thirsty concrete. Permeable concrete pavers are precast concrete designed to also allow for drainage. Permeable grass pavers allow grass to grow through them and provide drainage.

Pervious, porous, and permeable pavers are similar because they make it easier for rain or snow to drain or absorb into the ground rather than overload the storm or sewer systems.

The most significant benefit of water-permeable pavement is that it helps precipitation absorb better (and slower) into the ground, which avoids overloading sewers and causing overflows and backups. It also helps recharge the groundwater and prevent agricultural runoff from lawns.

If you’ve ever seen water rushing into a storm drain, permeable pavement prevents that. Instead of water running off a steep driveway, a good amount of it “soaks” directly underneath the pavement.

Topmix permeable concrete costs $8 to $16 per square foot, including all installation costs. However, they give out estimates on a project-by-project basis. However, Tarmac, the company that made the product, no longer produces Topmix.

Ecoraster is a brand that offers many different permeable paving options in North America. Prices vary depending on the product and project. They’ll give estimates for each individual project. While not actual pavers, these grids serve a similar function. Ecoraster grids come in various styles and allow for similar drainage compared to permeable pavers or porous paving.

Permeable driveways may cost slightly more than a traditional paving type, but they reduce or eliminate the need to install any other type of drainage system. Drainage systems cost $2,000 to $6,500 to install. They also reduce stormwater runoff, sewer overflows, and help eliminate urban agriculture runoff, which can pollute waterways.
