"USI was wonderful to work with. They had to coordinate with another company that was replacing our siding, and everything went very smoothly. They installed new Anderson Fibrex windows, which look beautiful and function well. They even replaced the old white tile window sills with wood sills that we could stain to match the baseboards and wainscoting throughout the house. The whole thing took only three days--and the third day was necessary only because a couple of windows that had been replaced earlier necessitated drywall repairs had been a different depth than the new windows, so some dry-wall repairs were necessary. Rusty was our sales person and he stayed in touch until the job was completely done. I'd definitely use them again."

"Everything went really well. Rob was punctual and got everything done quickly. The price was competitive. He and the contractors he brought in did an awesome job. In the master shower, they replaced and fixed some of the old pipes and fixtures, installed a new shower pan and all the tile and fixtures. He was even able to work in a curve ball we threw in and installed the niche in the shower. For the outdoor stair drain, he and his crew were able to remove the old, ineffective drain and setup a much better drain with higher capacity and that is better at absorbing the water and rain. Rob also did some research on the best options for drainage in the stair well and helped us avoid costly options that would not work long-term. We're very happy with the result. For the window well installation, he got the job done despite our indecision and patiently worked with us while we changed our minds. Now we have an installed window well attached to the wall in a very narrow space with the drainage gravel all setup and ready to go. All through the process, Rob was awesome at communicating with us, keeping us updated, and figuring out solutions with us, giving us invaluable info based on extensive experience to help us make the best possible choices."

"The work was done over 2 days and the installer, Wes, took a great deal of pride with his work. We had one area that had caused us particular problems causing water to drip by our front door. He went above and beyond to resolve the issue and appears to have been successful."

"He had all 5 stars which is why I chose him. Please see my google review with pictures from an inspection on my new home built by Cameron Teeples. I had to pay $25,000 to replace stone due to mold, and I have many more repairs to go. Cameron Teeples now has a non-disparagement clause in his contracts. Buyer Beware. See my other review regarding the plumber that came to take out the sewer test tube when my sewer backed up in the house."

"These guys were incredible. Stayed on schedule and on budget. Didn’t leave the site until ever aspect was 100% perfect and held their guys to a super high standard. We went in knowing that we wouldn’t accept any sloppy work, Jeremy and Todd both inspected every bit of work and we can honestly say it’s perfect from the grout spacing, to the drywall patching, everything in between. 100% Would hire again"

"I had an overall estimate prepared by Jonathan in early July, which was better than the other contractor that had come out. Tristan from Aspire then came out and removed the bad brick molding, installed the flat type of molding that was wanted along with the ledge over the doorway to ensure no rain would be able to get into the top of the storm door when it rains, which was good too. Tristan had to deal with heavy downpours of rain while trying to install the molding. For what he had to deal with, he did good. Tristan remeasured the back door for Jonathan so the proper size of storm door I wanted could be ordered. After aproximately a month and a half I reached out to Jonathan by text to get an estimated time for the door to be installed, but never received a response. Approximately two weeks later I was contacted by Aspire and informed Jonathan had been let go and someone else from Aspire would continue the job. I was then contacted by another worker, Peter, who was very informative even though he had been given very few notes on what still had to be done. Peter came out September 15th and he was able to get information about the storm door being at the Home Depot in Pensacola even though I live in the Fort Walton Beach area. After Peter picked up the door and brought it to the house, he measured my back door and the storm door he picked up to find out the storm for was too big for my doorway (36" door was ordered, my doorway was measured at 29"). Peter returned the storm door to the local Home Depot and had to special order another storm door. Peter kept me informed about what was going on and he would come back out to install the door once it was in at Home Depot and anticipated to install the storm door on October 2nd. I advised Peter I had to be at work by a certain time and he advised he could install it without me being at the house. On October 2nd another worker named Joel, who came out to the house, but I had overslept and did not hear the doorbell. I was contacted by Aspire to reschedule since Joel could not make contact with me. I informed them that I was under the impression Peter would be coming out. They advised Peter was not available and Joel would be the one coming out again on October 5th. When Joel did come out he was only provided minimal notes about replacing molding for a storm door to be installed. He did not know a storm door had been ordered and was to be picked up at the local Home Depot. Once Joel got in contact with Aspire, he went and picked up the storm door and began to install it. I had to leave for work prior to Joel finishing the job, but he provided me a text message later on stating he installed the door and where the keys for the storm for were left. After returning home that night I recovered the keys for the door and looked at storm door. I noticed the frame of the storm door on the latch side was not snug up against the top of the door frame for the storm door and the latch does not catch the plate to stay closed and the storm door has to have the deadbolt extended to keep the storm door from being opened if pulled on without having to turn the handle. This is why I only provided three stars since there was a gap in the process, multiple workers and minimal information that was provided to the workers to keep them informed of the current process of the job being conducted."

FAQs for sunroom or patio enclosure building service projects in Salem, UT

A sunroom is a fully enclosed space with walls of windows or glass. It allows you to enjoy the outdoors from the comfort of the indoors, protected from bugs and weather. It functions as an additional room in your home. A covered patio extends your home's roof over an outdoor area, providing shade and shelter while remaining open to the fresh air. It's a great way to enjoy outdoor living while being protected from sun and rain.

Adding screens to your porch is the most budget-friendly way to enclose it. Screening keeps out insects and debris while letting you enjoy the breeze and outdoor ambiance. It's less expensive than installing full walls or glass enclosures and doesn't usually require permits, making it an efficient way to upgrade your porch.

If you're transforming your porch into a fully enclosed living space like a sunroom, you'll likely need a sturdy foundation, such as a reinforced concrete slab, to support the structure. For a simple screened-in porch, you might be able to use the existing floor and support posts without additional foundation work. It's best to consult a professional to determine what's needed for your project.

An enclosed porch can be considered a living space if it's fully enclosed with solid walls and windows, has a proper roof, and includes heating and cooling systems. It should also have direct access from inside your home. When these criteria are met, the space becomes an extension of your home's livable area.
