"Replasted ceilings of two rooms and repainted kitchen and its cabinets. Best cabinet painting I've ever seen. We are having them paint our metal roof in April based on how good a job they did for us."

Customers say: Terrific value

"Stretched a two-day project out over 3 weeks and did not complete the haul away of all of the old materials due to weight. Had a hard time connecting with him about when his team would be out, and his guys spent about half of their time at our house taking breaks and sitting around. Not the best experience."

"Wow!! I can't tell you what an incredible job All American Landscaping did on our landscaping. They took it from just okay to absolutely stunning and beautiful! They arrived early in the morning, completely prepared and ready to start; and didn't finish until dinnertime. Colby had great ideas on what would work for our landscaping and was so knowledgeable about which plants would work best for our environment. I can't say enough about them and my husband and I were beyond happy. I fully recommend them and say with absolute confidence you won't regret hiring them."

"Incredible experience. I created a project on Angi for interior painting service. They called and came out to look at the job in the same day. VERY reasonably priced for the work they did. Absolutely amazing and will definitely hire them again! "

FAQs for small projects painting or staining projects in Salem, VA

You'll need about two gallons of paint to fully cover your kitchen cabinets with two coats. Since each gallon covers around 350 square feet, it's a good idea to measure your cabinets or use a paint calculator to determine exactly how much you'll need. Starting with one or two coats of primer and then applying two to three layers of paint will give you a flawless, durable finish. Using high-quality paint can reduce the number of coats needed and provide a long-lasting finish.

The best type of paint for your kitchen cabinets is latex paint because it applies evenly and creates a durable finish. If you're painting wood surfaces and need extra adhesion, acrylic paint is a great alternative. We don't recommend oil-based paint for residential use due to its VOC emissions. For finishes, go with eggshell, semi-gloss, gloss, or satin, as matte finishes aren't as durable or as easy to clean.

The best method for painting kitchen cabinets is spray painting because it gives you a smooth, even finish without brush strokes. While brushes and rollers can work, they often leave marks and require more effort. If you're aiming for a professional look, spray painting is your best bet to enhance the beauty and durability of your cabinets.
