Customers say: Quality work

"Outstanding job! Paul explained exactly the process involved for paving the driveway. He answered my questions and took into consideration my issues of smooth transition to walkway and water runoff. David and the entire crew was excellent and professional. Invited them back to put on a sealer coat if needed."

"Mike was prompt in his communication. I left a message and Mike returned my call the same day. He sent me an estimate within three days of that call. Mike and his crew were prompt and professional on job day. They removed the old asphalt and laid new asphalt. Cleaned up before they left. My driveway looks beautiful! I would hire TMC again when needed."

"The driveway lady provided excellent customer service. She answered my first voicemail at the end of business the day I left it. I was scheduled for work within a few days. I was very impressed with the work quality, the time it took to complete the work, and how helpful she was in answering questions about other work we need to have done around the property. Our neighbor was so impressed that they hired her on the spot and she was able to complete their work the same day. I wish I had more asphalt that needed work because she is A+ in my book. I took the photograph from upstairs in my house and it shows my driveway and my neighbors driveway."

"coated with material that they have. Originally, I thought they will use Asphalt (hot stuff) for the coating, but they did not. They told me they never use tar for coating. In general, they did a good job."

"Henry's got the job done quickly and for a reasonable price. Some extra work needed to be done like removing a cement area and bushes to make room for a wider paved driveway, and they did an excellent job. The driveway looks great, and I would highly recommend Henry's Paving!"

FAQs for asphalt paving installation projects in Salfordville, PA

Most driveways wrap up in roughly a week. Allow two to three days for installation, followed by an additional two to three days for the surface to cure. Concrete and asphalt follow this timeline, whereas a gravel job often finishes more quickly. Laying out the schedule upfront makes it easier to plan your week and your budget.

Sealer prevents water, salt, and UV rays from damaging the surface. Apply a fresh coat every one to three years, and you’ll slow down the growth of cracks, avoid pricey repairs, and keep the driveway looking sharp. A local professional can handle the job efficiently and ensure even coverage.

Material is the significant driver when it comes to the lifespan of a driveway. Asphalt stays strong for about 20 years, concrete lasts 30 to 40 years, and paver stones can last 50 to 100 years because you can swap out damaged bricks. With regular top-ups, a gravel drive can also reach the century mark. Knowing these timelines helps you map out long-term maintenance and replacement costs.

Repaving strips everything down and starts fresh, letting you change the layout or improve drainage before pouring new material. Resurfacing, on the other hand, adds a top layer over a solid base, giving you a facelift without the need for a complete demolition. Go with repaving when the base is failing; choose resurfacing when the structure is sound and you just need a new surface.
