Pat showed up the day I called him to evaluate the problem, and explained there were two issues in addition to the rain -- we applied the stain before the deck had thoroughly dried out, producing tannin leach (dark areas), and we had applied way too much stain. He tarped the deck and walls below the problem deck and used a stripper, then power-washed it, then acid-washed it, then did a fine sanding, and applied the right amount of stain. Now, we have great, even color and the mess is history. Pat was knowledgeable, easy to work with, and stuck to his bid -- a real pro."
