He explained how by changing the size just a few feet that he could saved me money before with my sizing, he would have a good bit of waste. Also, I didnt want the dogshed built under the trees and , thus, I needed a way to have two opposite sides to be raiseable. This would allow me to regulate the air flow and keep my dogs cool. He also suggested that bringing in dirt and getting the floor of the shed about a foot higher than the surrounding yard would keep theshed dry. He did such a great job! He and his help worked long and during hot October and finished in a short time. i am so pleased with every single thing that they did. They were polite to explain what ever they were working on at that moment. My favorite about the new shed is that Mr. McCord made the north/ south sides with a mechanism that allows me to raise or lower the sides in a matter of minutes with a manuel pulley. *****"

"Strongly recommend asking for breakdown of quoted price to ensure you understand what you are paying for. After the job was completed it was communicated that $250 of a $600 job was for gas. It took about 3 hour to repair a fence where old wood was used (wood that was previously removed). My fault for not asking for a quote breakdown prior to securing the job. Had we known this.. I would have pursued other options. Lesson learned. Thanks."

"I had an existing garage door that was a opening to the back porch. Jesse and team removed the door, drywalled the opening inside and on the outside built a wall. He then did custom woodwork inside on the entire wall of shiplap. On the exterior they created a custom wood masterpiece that is chevron patterned focal point. Extremely satisfied with the custom work and customer service."

"Our home is 41 years old and we have wanted to cover our patio for years. We never could figure out how to do it because of the way the original roof line is configured. We contacted a contractor on Angie's list but he couldn't get to us for several months. We asked if he would recommend someone and he gave us Tony Mills' name and number. We consulted with Tony and he came out and took a look at our situation and we discussed different options. He then brought his framer by and together they designed a roof to cover the patio that upon completion looks like it is original to the house. There were several issues which had to be dealt with; not the least of which was a chimney which diverted water to the wrong place for our new cover. But that was taken care of by some more design work. They really did a great job. Next came the actual building of the cover. The workmen were nothing short of artists with a saw and nail gun and paintbrush and roller. No kidding! We love our new patio cover and could not be happier with Mills Family Properties. The next time we have a job that needs doing, we will definitely call Tony."

Job was done on the date promised, in the time span estimated and at the price quoted. The two man team properly braced the porch roof before tearing the old column out. They built the new column on site. The team removed all tear down debris as well as the trash from the construction phase (a really big plus in my book since I have had other contractors leave their trash for me to clean up.) The contractor asked for a deposit before they began and the balance after the work was completed. I marked them down on punctuality since they told me that they would be here at 9:00 but it was 90 minutes later before they arrived and another 30 minutes before they started work. As I said above, the work completion was promised for the end of the day and they met that.
