He said none of these concerns interfered with the safety or integrity of our roof, and explained everything in a way that a layperson such as me would understand. In short, Rick said our roof is in great shape and doesn’t need to have anything done at all. He could have simply agreed with the other contractor and racked up more business for himself if he had wanted to do so; instead he didn’t charge me a cent for his time and effort although I would have been very happy to pay for the peace of mind he gave me. "Rudy gave us an estimate that was very competitive and much more comprehensive than the other estimates we received. He made sure there would be nothing unexpected or any unwelcome surprises. This was a big job on a house that the roof had been long neglected. There was a lot of wood repair that had to be done before the new roof could go on. This included both the house and a wooden patio cover. Wood replacement was the bulk of the cost. Both Rudy, and Tito, the job foreman, made suggestions along the way on things we could consider to help defray some of the costs at the same time making the house look really good. The crew showed up each day on time, were respectful of the property, cleaned up each day before departing, and all in all were always professional. The roof replacement included a lot of skylights (13 including the patio). We were opting for the cheaper “big box store” white skylights. Rudy had me look at an amber custom skylight in comparison and we ended up going with those. Night and day difference. They look so good and we are so thankful for his recommendation. (The company made nothing on the skylights, just made sure they had a very happy customer.) Yes, it cost a little more, but not that much and the visual difference is incredible! So pleased with the overall job. I highly recommend Sequoia Roofing for your roofing job!"

"Initially we called Protecta Roofing to get our roof inspected. Even though we currently did not have leak issues we thought it wise to have the roof inspected as the ceramic tiles were close to 30 years old. Mario was prompt in responding and coming out to inspect. We were informed of 10 broken tiles. Our decision was to have the tiles replaced and power wash the roof to remove algae which included applying an organic sealant product. After a couple weeks of failed attempts to obtain an estimate from Mario I was in touch with Edith, the company sales manager. From then on the communication and process went smoothly. Edith and crew were a delight to work with. Her knowledge of the work to be done and concern for my satisfaction were impressive. In addition to repairing the broken tiles, our solar panels were cleaned along with painting the pipe flashings. Because everything looked so clean we decided to have Protecta power wash our driveway and side walkways, which are also cleaned with the organic algae solution. The work done was outstanding!"

"It was a nice experience from start to finish. To Leon there’s no such thing as a small job although later it became bigger because I had all the rotting facia whole or partial replaced . Add to that the relatively new patio roof that was done very poorly and badly by a previous company was also replaced. All these add ons were ok with Leon and the good news is the price was still reasonable and within my budget. I gave 4 stars only because the replacement shingle was a bit off ."

I had four groups to chose from, the first one so expensive, I new I had to keep looking, the next had a few reasons why they were unable to keep the appointment, Then came Zenith Roofing, Brian was the only one who wanted me to check out my homeowners insurance first. I found out that the repair would be covered.. Brian gave me the repair cost, well within range. Then I asked what would it be to replace the whole roof? "I contacted Alvarez roofing to repair a leak coming from a ventilation pipe on my roof. They responded immediately to my request to evaluate the roof and repair the leak. I informed Francisco that it was urgent because my home was in escrow and I did not want to delay the sale and needed to insure the buyer that the roof was in excellent condition. Francisco came two days later, on a Sunday, and evaluated and repaired the roof within 3 hours. He supplied me with a complete roof evaluation with photos and a detailed report on all the work done.
