"I had a great experience working with Mike, Ken, Keren and the Palm Construction crew on the remodel of my 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom apartment in San Francisco. They did major work on my bathroom (completely gutted it) and kitchen (beautiful new cabinets and countertop/backsplash) with updated plumbing and electricity. They also installed recessed light in all the rooms and updated the floors throughout. My apartment feels so much more spacious and light, and I love being home. Every person I interacted with was professional and kind. Mike was extremely patient with me and my countless questions along with mini anxiety attacks as this was my first remodel. Ken was also very communicative and between him and Mike, I felt like I was in the care of friends. The designer they work with, Keren, is also amazing, kind and has fantastic taste. One of the most impressive parts (among many) is that they were able to complete all this work in six weeks, all up to SF code, and would have been faster had shelter in place not started. "My backyard project included installing a new redwood side fence, replacing old redwood fence boards on the back fence, removing the lawn and brick walkway and installing a new concrete patio in those areas, installing a new wood safety guard rail and installing a new ADA compliant handrail to use when walking down the backyard steps to the laundry room. "Tomer did an excellent job of project managing the following: 1) replacement of a bathtub with a walk-in shower; 2) replacement of the bathroom sink, countertop and side splash; 3) replacement of the door to the bathroom; and 4) replacement of the ceiling light/fan. He stayed in close communication throughout, beginning with providing an estimate and including applying for permits and inspections, and checking the progress of the work. Roberto came up with an innovative pattern for the shower tiles that I really love, provided good advice on the products I needed to purchase, e.g., the shower drain and the ceiling fan light, and picked the products up from Home Depot. He kept his worksite inside the bathroom neat and clean and made sure the pathway to the bathroom along hallways and stairs was also neat and clean after equipment and products were brought inside and taken to the bathroom on the second floor. I am highly satisfied with the work of S and L and plan to use their services again for my next home improvement project."
