"We found Amer with a Big Deal on Angies List.  The price was for maybe an hours worth of work.  They showed up on time, replaced the outdoor faucet (spigot?) which was leaking (spraying) really bad. They did something else for us (which I can't recall).  <br /> Then my third request was to get his thoughts on what to do with a single lever shower control that had Hot and Cold backwards.  Hot was cold and cold was hot.  He looked at the age and model of shower level etc.  Then said yes he could take it apart.  It was probably a mixer valve (or something like) and try to flip the mixer it over.  However, given the age (<13yrs old) and hard water... chances are good that it may break in the process.  If it did break then that may cost a bit more.  So he'd be happy to do it of course, or if there aren't any other problem with it (no leaking etc.) then I might want to wait until the next time it needs to be worked on / replaced.  But it was my choice. <br /> I appreciated his honesty and giving me options rather than just plowing forward and possibly running up the bill.  I think this shows some integrity, professionalism and caring about the customer.  <br /> Great job Amer Corp.  Keep up the good work!  I will definitely use Amer Corp again. <br />"

"Steve (the owner of Elite Appliance Repair) and Kevin arrived within the scheduled time window, though they had called ahead of time and said they could be a little late. They very quickly diagnosed the problems with our 14-year old washer (two circuit boards and a support strut) and recommended that given its age, we consider buying a new unit. Because they found the problem so quickly, they even waived the normal diagnostic fee, simply asking that we call them in the future! Simply can't get any better response and service!"

"When I called, I was given a really prompt response time and was here as promised. I had ordered replacement parts from Moen. VITech was able to repair one without any trouble, but the one faucet needed additional parts. I called the owner on Friday and the serviceman, Ed, was here promptly on time the following Monday. It took a while to get that faucet repaired. He was really nice and did a really good job. Both times, the rooms were left very clean. The owner, Vitaliy, and Ed were both very polite and knowledgeable. We are keeping their card and will call them for future projects and to give as referrals."
