"<p>We recommend this contractor.</p> <p><strong>Background.</strong>  This was our first project since the construction of the house in 10 years.  We researched the options of wood and metal buildings.  The cost of each was about the same.  However, the metal building was a quicker and durable option. </p> <p><strong>Contractor Choice.</strong>  We chose the contractor due to the price, the interview with the owner, their website, and a testimonial; we visited a previous job site where they did a similar project.  In general, the owner was more responsive and professional than the other contractors.  The other companies seem less professional and some were just odd.  The local contractor business in our area is competitive but not cheap.  </p> <p><strong>Foundation. </strong> Overall, the survey, land clearing, and laying the A/B aggregate went well.  We chose to hire an additional contractor to clear more land to expedite their work and for other projects.  Foundation framing and cement work went according plan.  During this phase, we were very much involved with their work since we need to integrate our other requirements into the foundation.  We needed to run water and power conduits into the foundation before the pouring of the concrete.  In addition, we prepared a portion of the foundation to support an in ground carlift.  All these actions required us to coordinate closely with the construction team.  Though our special modifications may have been a deviation from their standard work, they were more than willing to work with us to accommodate each special request and let us do the portions of the work we intended to do ourselves.  In addition, we were welcome to ask questions and review the work daily to ensure that there were no misunderstandings or incorrect expectations.   We enjoyed working with both the owner Caleb and his site lead, Calvin.</p> <p><strong>Erection.  </strong>We elected to wait 30 days to begin the erection after the pouring of foundation.  The erection went without any major incident. Caleb's crew performed all of the work for this portion, and did so at remarkable speed.</p> <p><strong>Follow-up.  </strong>We required a follow up visit to fix one of the overhead roll up garage doors that came off its track.  The contractor responded within a reasonable time and completed the work without issue.<br /> Overall, we were very satisfied with the entire experience, from bid through construction to completion. We recommend you consider this vendor for your next construction project.</p> <br />"

Workers were very talented, precise, never left a mess, and we always could use the spaces overnight rather than having to eat out or do without a bathroom. Workers were open to our suggestions. "Kathy N, the engineer/construction supervisor and her wonderful team helped us understand options for wall movements, door placements and changes necessary in structural adjustments.  Kathy L the designer was very patient as she walked us through options of style (Mediterranean, traditional, modern, etc.) and small design issues (faux painting, appliance matching, cabinet wood and pulls, etc).   <br /> Work included moving one wall and changing one entry door into the kitchen area.  cabinets were all designed from scratch with an excellent functional work area that flows well today after 4 years.  The two types and color of granite are perfect compliments and add so much to the kitchen look and functionality.  We found all the workmen to be conscientious, skilled and open to questions and ideas.  What few little things went not according to plan i.e. termites found on removal of old cabinets or hole punctured in adjoining bathroom wall, were all dealt with quickly and efficiently by Nick, the onsite foreman.  Not only were they top notch in all ways, but we brought them back a year later to do a backyard outdoor kitchen, again with the same level of expertise.   <br /> Perhaps the best example of ultimate service occurred 2 years after completing the back yard BBQ/outdoor kitchen, when a piece of the slate behind the BBQ collapsed in after a heavy rain storm.  Nick was on the spot within a short period of time and not only had it repaired and reinforced, but had his crew completely rebuff the entire slate area even fixing some chips we had put in it.  What a surprise to come home and find them rebuffing and resealing the slate.   <br /> <br /> Over all a pleasant experience remodeling (I used to think that was an oxymoron) with an excellent team, dedicated professionals at about the same price or slightly higher than other bids we had but so much more value than we anticipated."

"It went wonderfully. They were there early everyday, respectful of our home, our family and animals. Worked quickly and professionally. We changed our mind on a couple of items mid project and they were fine with it. Adjusted the estimate (downward) without complaint! The custom made door frames are beautiful! The installed doogy door, sliding glass door, wall sections all turned out great. The kitchen counter move and cabinet rehang went good too. "hey also had a shop to purchase the tile needed for the job so we picked out the tile and the grouting.  It was a one stop pretty much because they had a store to pick out the tiling we wanted done and then they did the work. Looks real good in the shower. They came and did the tiling  and it was done quickly and politely.They were on time, did not take any longer than proposed. No problems at all. It was the same price as another tiler we looked into, but this company was recommended by Water and Drain Works, who'd done our plumbing. They regularly do business with them."
