"Randy was so responsive. He was the first and only person who contacted me when I initially entered my info/problem on Angi's list/Home Advisor. I was quite surprised as I had never looked there for help and didnt expect a call. I was still in the process of looking for someone when he called, and he seemed very knowledgeable and I felt my search had ended after we talked. He was able to come the same day (I had company so this was a blessing). I wanted to not only have the clog in my kitchen pipes cleared but I also was looking for someone to help find out why this keeps happening. He mentioned when we spoke that he had a camera for a small extra charge that he may put in the pipes to see if something bigger was happening. I thought that was great technology to have access to. After he saw our house setup, he felt that the camera was not necessary and didnt want to have me pay for something I didnt need and I appreciated that very much. He did give me a couple suggestions of things to do to keep the water and gunk from backing up (possible more downward angle for better water flow, simple fix for us to do), and the use of a drain cleaner that is safe for septic. I had previously had another company cut roots from and scope the sewer line from the house to the main.
I was not home at the time of the work.
They reported that my line had severe breaks and needed to be replaced or relined. Cost would be over $10,000.
Of course, I wanted a second opinion on the condition of the line and need for repair.
Big Angelos came out - On Time and professional.
I told him why he was there and he allowed me to watch as he scoped the line and I could see for myself.
We watched as the camera clearly showed that the materials that the pipe was made from was not as described by the original plumber / con-man. Further, Big Angelo's showed me how the line was slightly damaged, but not anything that needed to be addressed for perhaps 10 years or more. Perhaps more importantly, the scope showed how the line was shared by my neighbor! If I had replaced or lined the pipe, I could have prevented my neighbor's sewage from draining.
He let the job be what it was. Meaning he was called to scope and assess the drain. That is what he did and he did it well. Explained  and answered concerns and questions and didn't exaggerate or try to upsell me into anything else.
I have since referred Big Angelo's to a property manager friend of mine and another home owner in Carmel. Both were very satisfied and keep Big Angelo's as their Go To Plumber.
I appreciate that they handle their business fairly / professionally. I wish more service companies were like this.
