"when tech showed up the dryer seemed to be working and heating however it did not when I called, seemed the heating element was cracked creating and off and on working condition. I went ahead to repair the problem by purchasing a new heating element. I was surprised however that the tech expected me to pay in full before he ordered the part and repaired the problem, but I did using my credit card knowing if there was a issue the credit card co. would have my back, The part was order and Alex fixed it as soon as it came in and was great"

"We bought property that already had a well drilled on it, but a pump had not yet been installed.   We had Foster drop a temporary pump into the well to check it out before we bought the property.  This cost $380 and fortunately the well depth and flow tested very well (so to speak). <br /> A few years later we decided to get the well pump installed.  I sent a request for quotation to several suppliers.  Others didn't bother responding.  Foster provided a detailed quote including reasons for equipment choices.  Because of the the well is very deep we had a large (3hp I think) pump installed.  Total charge was $6438 including parts and installation.   The work was done on time and with no issues.  The crew was very professional <br />"

"Mike, who is the owner, did a fantastic job. I recommend him and he will be the person I call for my future plumbing needs. Mike saved Thanksgiving. We had 22 for the Thanksgiving holidays and both pumps in the sewer lift station quit working. We bought the previously owned house a little over a year ago and the pumps which were past the normal pump life cycle both went out. Mike came out, evaluated the situation, and submitted a bid to replace the pumps. Then Mike put in a temporary pump to handle the station until it could fixed with new pumps. Now the out standing part of this story is that Mike came out numerous times, even Thanksgiving morning, to be sure that the sewer system worked. Once the pumps arrived Mike brought them out, showed them to me, and explained exactly what he was going to do and then he did what he said he would do. Mike was always professional and courteous and he was always punctual. After the installation Mike made sure everything was working and that the area was cleaned up. I should tell you that Mike and his other plumbers, at one time there were four plumbers working, it was cold and raining/sleeting. <br />"

FAQs for sump pump repair or replace projects in San Carlos, AZ

Sump pumps last about 10 years with proper maintenance and prompt repairs. Several factors can influence your sump pump’s lifespan, such as usage, environmental conditions, and installation. Premium sump pumps with heavy-duty motors and quality components tend to last longer than lower-cost models. Pedestal sump pumps usually last longer than submersible models since they’re not constantly exposed to water.

A basement French drain is a drainage system installed in basements or around a building’s foundation to redirect water and prevent flooding. This system features a trench with a perforated pipe that catches and transports water away. These systems can crack, freeze, or clog, potentially resulting in flooding or strain on your sump pump.

You can use a sump pump in your yard to minimize pooling water and landscape damage, but it’s best used in conjunction with other drainage systems. This can include French drains, trench drains, underground downspouts, and other equipment. Proper lawn care, such as soil aeration and native plants, also aids with drainage.
