"We contracted Unique Designs LLC to replace 2053 square feet of old carpet with tile. Alan Pando, the owner, walked us through the tile selection process, in which direction the wood plank tile would be installed for best eye appeal, removal of the existing carpet, prepping the surface, and installing the tile. Alan set hours between 8 AM and 3 PM Monday through Friday. His crew was on time, never late, and promptly left at 3 PM. Laying tile involves geometry, particularly on curved walls, prepping the surface such that the end result is smooth as silk, and minimizing waste. The complexity level of tiling multiple rooms meant we had to work sequentially emptying one room then moving to another – this was accomplished flawlessly. The crew – Javier, Ulysses, Terry, and John – were respectful and highly enjoyable to have in the home. They helped move very heavy furniture and a weight machine, cut the tile outside, and didn’t break anything. And they worked at a breakneck pace. The job was completed in 10 days. Since our slab had some surface cracks and was uneven in places grinding and patching had to be done. They took care to contain the very fine concrete dust, masking off rooms with sheet plastic as needed. This is our second major project with Unique as they also installed a custom range hood and new tile backsplash in our kitchen with equally appealing results. The guys work with some music (set at a nice level) which somehow always seemed to match what we like also, a bonus over listening to floor grinding and saw work. They also watched the fort while we made a few appointments in town, another bonus that allows our daily life to move on with minimal disruption, key when one is living in the home as it is remodeled. The resulting surface is level, linear, and accurate with no high edges or jagged cuts. Tile spacers insured the outcome would be perfect and the grouting was on the money as well. Given the complexity of working around our lives and the scope of the work we could not be more pleased."

"77 Stone saved our kitchen remodel. We were already down to wall studsin the kitchen whan Rodriguez Plastic took our down payment THEN told us it would be six weeks before they could get to us. Chuck at 77 Stone took us through the process, got the slabs in, cut on a Friday and installed on Monday. The whole process took about a week. He also revised a design flaw in the countertops that would have been pretty awful. <br /> <br />77 Stone also helped us out with choosed 'remaindered' pieces for the vanity tops, this saved us quite a bit. <br /> <br />Their prices were only slightly higher than Rodriguez Plastic, but their promt customer service more than makes up the difference. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />"

"KS Industries Remodeling Contractor worked on setting up a base for a new spa, removing and reinstalling a iron gate, replacing designer tiles on front of house, sanding, painting, replacing beams in courtyard, repairing and replacing rock walls, and installing an iron wrought gate. All jobs were executed with utmost quality and completed in a timely manner. Also, of note is the thoroughness in cleaning up the area and removing all debris after the job is completed. "One of the reasons we like Granite Passion is that we take the whole family to their showroom to decide the our favorite granite color and style.  Since we are novices, they have always given experienced advice--including how to keep costs manageable.  Since I did the last job myself, they cut the two small holes for the vessel sink and waterfall tap and polished some extra sides needed on the backsplash. <br /> Of course, granite is not cheap, however, I feel that the price for the quality and service was a very good value. <br />"

"My wife and I wanted new hard woods in our house but had very specific requirements that we could not typically find locally.  My wife wanted a dark floor while I wanted extreme durability in a natural hard wood.  We did our homework and decided that Brazilian Walnut (Ipe) most closely matched what we wanted.  <br /> After looking locally for something that fit the bill, the flooring we found was either over $12 sq/ft (too expensive) or not dark enough.  I started searching on-line and ran across Brazilian Direct.  Their prices seemed reasonable (a bit over $6 sq/ft for what we wanted) and they even had a tinted (dark) version of the floor we liked. <br /> After several weeks of questions and further research, we decided to place an order.  We we worked with a representative named Sannon who helped us every step of the way.  She sent us samples, instructions, guides - everything to make us more comfortable about our eventual order.  Our order came right on schedule and the wood was really beautiful.  After several weeks of the required acclimation we had a local installer put the floor down.  They did an excellent job and we really love our floor.  There was very little waste and in fact we had at least 3 boxes left over. <br /> I highly recommend Brazilian Direct.  We are considering using them again for a deck project we'd like to do in the future. <br />"

"I have used several Granite Gold products and like their effectiveness because they do what they are supposed to do. No strong fumes or irritating skin problems. The granite counter top daily cleaner and polish are so easy to use (spay it on and wipe with a paper towel) to keep all your stone products clean and shiny. I was surprised to see how effective the grout cleaner is. I sprayed it on some dirty tire floors in the bathroom and let it sit for a couple of minutes. Then I went over it with the scrub brush they provide. It looked clean then, but when it dried, it was much brighter. This is a 40 Year old bathroom tile floor pictured. "We first called Real Stone many months ago. They arrived promptly and gave us a quote very quickly. It took us much longer than expected to get around to installing counters. In the interim, we had several other quotes. But we liked the responsiveness of Real Stone, their pricing, and the fact that they have a professional business location. <br /> We did run into a few hiccups. I think part of their business model is to and quot;drive-search-and buyand quot; to get competitively priced slabs of quartz and granite. This pushed our install back and increased materials' cost by $300. We split the difference. What I liked is that despite miscommunication, we compromised and ultimately got really nice looking counters installed for a good price. The owner struck me as a man of integrity and he followed through to make it right. He even did a final visit to make sure everything was correct and to make a few touch-ups. <br />"
