Customers say: Quick response

"Cesar and Carlos are the BEST! I have used their services multiple times. Installation of drainage system in back yard, flowerbed reconstruction, paver blocks installed for 4 beds in back including fresh dirt and plants. They also created a paver patio and did same for my front porch. I recently called then to correct blunders left by a tree service that destroyed my yard. They cleaned up the mess, created block borders fir 3 more beds, trinmed my large oak tree in front, and placed sand in holes left in yard by other group. They are timely, communicative, do great work, and leave not a trace behind. I would recommend them for ANY outside yard service you need! A+ company!!"

"Frank is great. He and his crew did a great job prepping and replacing sod for entire yard. Frank is very knowledgeable about sprinkler systems and was able to work with my older system to make it much more water efficient without breaking the bank. Very responsive with following up to make minor adjustments. Very pleased!"

"We've used Complete Lawn Services for years.  They make appointments...they show up!   They call ahead for days of service and are on time!!   Prices are competitive and very fair.  The work is done quickly and at the cost estimated.  I can't say enough good things about this company.  They are excellent in every way.  Once they recommended someone who could do a particular service  cheaper...it was a service they could perform, but since they didn't do it often, another company could do it cheaper...Wow!  They are the first ones I call! <br />"

"First visit, 5/30/13, middle aerobic tank lid collapsed; 2nd visit, 7/17/13, installed new septic lid casting; located missing sprinkler system zone valve box, repairs valve; will return to set riser (missing) and backfill tank; 3rd visit, 8/22: backfilled middle tank, brought wrong riser; repositioned aerobic air pump to eliminate noisy banging on house underpinning; sometime in late October, repair was completed.  <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />| <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />|I am happy with the careful way the owner worked with me to determine a low-cost way to address my repair problem, with the quality of the work that was done, and with the extra sprinkler system work that was done at no extra charge.  Although there was a remarkable set of delays in completion, the septic system was operable the entire time, and the cost savings made the trade off well worthwhile.  I will call SLI Systems again when I need sprinkler or septic repairs."

"They did very well. I stopped using them because I started taking care of the yard myself. There were some instances where they put chemicals on the lawn to kill the weeds and bugs. He sprayed too far on my flower area and it killed that whole area. He wasn't watching what he was doing and killed a whole semi-circle area. The price was okay."

"We have purchased many different plants and trees over the years from Scherz and have never been disappointed with them. The sales staff is very knowledgable as is every person we speak with there. We have returned plants a couple of times and there is absolutely no hassle about replacement and they also tell us what went wrong with the plant. They even admit if it was their fault as far as a bad plant. I cannot speak well enough about this company but rest assured it is an A+ company for sure."

"I purchased an Angie's list deal for a water heater replacement for $850 (40 Gallon WH install and removal of old unit) from Your Katy Plumber but when you get the contact info you are connected to Big State Plumbing. I claimed the deal on Friday 03/15/19 at 11:30am and I put urgent on the notes as I had no hot water. I did not hear from anyone at Big State Plumbing so I called the contact number Saturday afternoon and I was told "I was just about to call you". The earliest available appointment was not until Wednesday 03/20/19 with a block from 8am - Noon. They send you a text the day before to remind you of your appt. On the day of the service, I got a text at 10:15am giving the name & pic of the Technician and stating that he was on his way. He arrived at 10:50am and I showed him to the non-working water heater. He began his work by draining the old unit. After he had unloaded the new unit from his Van and began prep for installation, I popped in the garage to check his progress and I noted that he was about to install a Bradford White (brand I was unfamiliar with) water heater. I stopped him and informed him that the deal I had signed up for included a Rheem water heater and that is what I wanted. He stated that the Bradford White is all they had at their warehouse so that's what he brought. He asked to see a copy of the printed Angie's list deal which I showed him and he took a picture. He then called someone at his office to ask if someone could bring him a Rheem WH but no luck. He then stated that he would have to go buy one and come back which was okay since the old unit was draining. He then left to go get the Rheem WH and was gone approx. 1.5 hours. Once he returned with the correct WH, the installation it self was pretty fast and painless. The Technician was very polite and he had a good attitude when I told him I wanted the Rheem unit as quoted in the deal but I do feel like the company was practicing a bit of bait and switch with the other unit. I have never heard of Bradford White but I am willing to bet that the water heater from them cost less than the Rheem unit. Overall, I am very grateful to have hot water after a week without. I feel like the deal was a fair bargain, not great but I didn't want to go through the hassle of buying and installing a new water heater and disposing of the old one so that helps me feel like the price was a good deal. I think the Technician should be aware of the contracted work including the terms of the "deal" purchased and the dispatcher should have been a bit faster contacting me to schedule so I didn't have to call them. Bottom line, not sure if I would use them again. Plus what is up with the name change? Your Katy Plumber has an "A" on Angie's list but Big State Plumbing has a "B""

"The landscaping that they did for me last year was about $30000 and my regular lawn service is about $800 a month. As far as the landscaping, they are extremely helpful in planning the placement and plants that I use. They suggested things and they have given me alternatives. They were just helpful in getting it all planned. In the maintenance, they're very good about tending the lawn, the hedging and the plants. They were very good. Their price is pretty high. It's worth my money. They did a good job."

FAQs for lawn and garden sprinkler system installation projects in San Felipe, TX

While drip irrigation systems have higher upfront costs, they can save you money in the long run. By delivering water directly into the soil with minimal evaporation and runoff, drip irrigation systems conserve water and improve efficiency. This means better performance and results for your landscaping, and cost savings over the system's lifespan.

Yes, irrigation systems can add value to your home, especially when installed with high-quality materials and a solid design. A well-irrigated landscape enhances curb appeal and can attract potential buyers. However, poor design or installation may reduce performance and even decrease your property's value. Hiring an expert for installation and performing regular maintenance is key to securing the long-term benefits.

A local irrigation professional can help you check your drip irrigation system to make sure it's in good shape. You'll want to make sure the water pressure is in a good range, repair any leaks as soon as possible, and cover the cost to winterize your sprinkler system as recommended by your irrigation contractor.

A drip irrigation system lasts between 10 and 15 years. This lifespan is determined by the quality of materials, the precision of installation, and regular professional maintenance. Unlike traditional sprinkler systems that can last up to 50 years, the thinner piping used in drip systems is more sensitive to UV exposure and environmental wear. Proper upkeep and timely repairs enhance durability and ensure consistent irrigation performance.

Drip irrigation is best suited for plant beds, containers, greenhouses, and row crops. It supplies water directly to individual plants, ensuring precise moisture control where it is needed most. For areas with simple layouts, above-ground systems work efficiently, while subsurface installations may be cost-prohibitive in spaces with extensive tree roots or irregular terrain. Proper planning maximizes the benefits of drip irrigation across a variety of applications.
