He is very understanding of my work schedule and did not work out of the time schedule they we agreed on. The countertop was clean beautiful and everything I wanted. Kris delivered and sealed all the countertops in a timely manner. After he completed the project he made sure everything was cleaned and spotless before he left. "My wife and I wanted new hard woods in our house but had very specific requirements that we could not typically find locally.  My wife wanted a dark floor while I wanted extreme durability in a natural hard wood.  We did our homework and decided that Brazilian Walnut (Ipe) most closely matched what we wanted.  <br /> After looking locally for something that fit the bill, the flooring we found was either over $12 sq/ft (too expensive) or not dark enough.  I started searching on-line and ran across Brazilian Direct.  Their prices seemed reasonable (a bit over $6 sq/ft for what we wanted) and they even had a tinted (dark) version of the floor we liked. <br /> After several weeks of questions and further research, we decided to place an order.  We we worked with a representative named Sannon who helped us every step of the way.  She sent us samples, instructions, guides - everything to make us more comfortable about our eventual order.  Our order came right on schedule and the wood was really beautiful.  After several weeks of the required acclimation we had a local installer put the floor down.  They did an excellent job and we really love our floor.  There was very little waste and in fact we had at least 3 boxes left over. <br /> I highly recommend Brazilian Direct.  We are considering using them again for a deck project we'd like to do in the future. <br />"

"Laurie Dean and the staff and installers here are FANTASTIC. I was really nervous about having my kitchen done, but they handled everything. BTW, I had priced out other places (like Builder's Warehouse downtown) and Design Plus was right in there--and unlike Builder's WH (which does not guarantee their work, has their employees work off the books to install, and have cheaper, thinner granite), Design Plus does really, really good work. Here's an example. Instead of using a paper pattern to trace and cut their granite, they have a professional come out and do a LASER PATTERN of your countertops so that they cut the granite just right. Paper patterns can stretch and get distorted, so this is really important. They also guarantee their sealed granite for 15 years! I can't say enough about this place. They made the experience painless. I'd trust them with my house any time. Don't go with substandard places (which you'll complain about for decades later). "I have used several Granite Gold products and like their effectiveness because they do what they are supposed to do. No strong fumes or irritating skin problems. The granite counter top daily cleaner and polish are so easy to use (spay it on and wipe with a paper towel) to keep all your stone products clean and shiny. I was surprised to see how effective the grout cleaner is. I sprayed it on some dirty tire floors in the bathroom and let it sit for a couple of minutes. Then I went over it with the scrub brush they provide. It looked clean then, but when it dried, it was much brighter. This is a 40 Year old bathroom tile floor pictured. "The people there at the office were very helpful. They picked out what we wanted. They did an excellent job of matching the stone where it had to go around the corners and stuff. The only problem we had was that we had a sink installed at the same time, but they evidently dropped something in the sink. It has been six months now since that happened. Rich Murray himself said that he would come out and take a look at it, but he never has. We are still stuck with a dented stainless steel sink. Their delivering of the items was fine. <br /> <br /> UPDATE: Rich Murray Granite and Marble has reassured me that the sink was not damaged by their employees. I believe that  he is an honest businessman and would not intentionally deceive a customer. <br /> <br /> We may have overlooked the defect when we received it."
