"The person who did it was very nice... showed up when he said he would and did clean both chimneys... and did 2 small repairs. He did NOT do any preventative cover up in the living room and our carpet was totally covered in soot. I didn’t double check before he left (this was my error) and I paid him. We were in contact with them for a reimbursement to have carpet cleaned... We ended up doing it ourselves the next day as were afraid it might not come up. Took them awhile to decide to send us $100 to cover cleaning. I thought that was a more than reasonable request... They said Ok but its been over a week and we have not received anything."
