"Called and got an estimate the same day no problems; note that quoting here isn't very formal but it was fine for the work they did and payment a breeze so good for me. The job then went fine - the masonry part of the job adding to the wall was well done (a little light on the clean up but nothing awful, just know ahead of time that you won't have a pristine job site). The pillars they added by the gate look OK and seem structurally sound but may have been slightly off in measurement for the gate, then their attempt at re-hanging of the gate was somewhat botched but they also didn't balk when I told them to stop attempting it and just not charge me for that. They actually told me up front this was something they normally didn't do so it is partially my fault for going ahead with it. The price seemed reasonable for the work. If I had another straightforward masonry job I would consider hiring them again."

"Jim came out looked at our cracked patio and gave me a quote on the spot.  I thought the quote was fair, so we scheduled the work for the following Monday.  The job turned out to be bigger than either of us thought.  The concrete in the patio was thicker than in most patios, so they had to go rent a jack hammer.  They had the patio section replaced in one day.  By the time they had the rubble moved to the front of the house, it was too late to have it picked up.  There was a pile of broken concrete in the driveway for two days, but Jim had communicated this to me, so it was OK.  The only thing that I was disappointed about was that they did not clean  up the concrete dust on the back patio.  I just had to sweep and hose it down, but I thought they would have cleaned up better.  I felt that Jim was honest and did the job he had promised to do.  The patio looks very good. <br /> I gave them a "C" for responsiveness because it took him a couple days to respond to the initial message I had left for him and usually took a day or so to get returned calls.  This is understandable because he is usually out working jobs. <br />"
