"I cannot praise this business highly enough! My swamp cooler died on me, so I called PHC on Friday, they had a technician out at my house to look at my system and give me a free estimate by the following Monday. I was able to order the swamp cooler I wanted, and have it installed by the end of the week. It was very affordable, and everyone I talked to throughout this process was pleasant and professional, and they took the time to answer any questions I had. I will be going to PHC Systems for all of my heating and cooling needs in the future."

"They did the work at my daughters house. They've done work for me for a long time. I've had some issues but I think it's explainable. They do a good job. I would tell others that they are very responsive, especially if you have an emergency. They're easy to deal with them over the phone and internet. It's a good locally owned company."

"I am so happy with the job Trussell's Transformation did for me. It started with a very informative consultation with Danny Trussell's. I appreciated his advice and presentation of a number of things for me to consider. His quote was right in line with others I received but the reviews and reference I received tipped the scale in favor of this company. Once I contracted with them, he referred me to several vendors to choose my tile, mirrors, glass, fixtures, etc. All were informative and helpful in making my decisions. The work was estimated to be about 3 weeks and instead took about 6 weeks. The tile I chose was more complex to work with and it took time to get it perfect, which they did. Mike and David were both great to work with and I felt totally comfortable having these guys in my house daily, sometimes when I was not home. I am thrilled with the finished project and have received may compliments from others who have seen it. I would not hesitate to use this company again or to refer to anyone considering home projects."

"Had some issues with water softener system.  Got 3 quotes on phone after describing symptoms.  All three were for new system.  <br /> Called Sodeco and described exact same thing and ask how much for new system.  Gary said hold on - let me test water and inspect your system first - then IF you need one he would credit cost of that service to price.  Mike came out and said my system was fine - all settings were off.  He reset and all is good, also checked under sink RO system. <br /> Highly recommended. <br />"

"Ben did the winter furnace/swampcooler switch over for the second year. He did an excellent and thorough job, completed all the function tests in a clean and efficient manner. I will be calling again in the spring. As a cautionary tale, I had a handyman do the switch over in the spring, and he actually caused some damage that will cost more than what I paid for Anderson. For the value of the work they do, it is well worth calling them"

"Quality of service for the spring and fall changeover service went well. The serviceman, Mat, was very knowledgable.  <br /> My problem was the cost of service. I entered a 1-year contract with Pearl Mechanical on May 1, 2015 to provide the semi-annual heating and evaporative cooler changeover, and annual tankless water heater flush for a total of $198.I misunderstood the terminology of the contract, and was charged an additional $182 for the evaporative cooler service. <br /> When I spoke with Mat during the October 14 service about this confusion, he spoke with Andrew at the Pearl Mechanical office and told me to expect a refund for the overcharge. No refund arrived. In following up, I learn now that the contract that I misinterpreted did not include the evaporative cooler service, and that I had to absorb this service charge. I was told that I was the first customer for Pearl Mechanical to service evaporative coolers. I feel that I was misled. Caveat emptor. Live and learn? <br />"

"Very good, I would say they are the best in the business. Aquatic pools designed our pool and maintained it for many year but staffing changes changed all of that. So, I've been using Perfection pools for several years now (up until our departure out of state) they are in a league all by themselves, hands down the best pool cleaning company; attention to detail, friendly, explains everything, no short cuts and treats your pool like it there own. This is our third pool which is over 40 thousand gallons, and many pool cleaning companies later. So in my opinion they are best! Perfection Pools now cleans my daughter's pool and she love it, wish they were here in Atlanta. Thanks"

FAQs for plumbing installation for a remodel or addition projects in San Rafael, NM

Adding bathroom plumbing to a detached garage starts with the basic line installation cost of $900 to $1,300. On top of this base expense, you'll need to budget for each fixture. A toilet costs  $250 to $550, sinks cost $150 to $800, and a shower or bathtub costs $400 to $1,900. The project will also require ventilation, moisture-resistant materials, and possibly electrical work. Remember that these costs reflect only the plumbing aspects—additional construction, finishing, and permitting expenses will apply to complete a functional bathroom space.

While certain aspects of garage renovation might be suitable for DIY enthusiasts, plumbing installation requires professional expertise. Connecting to water and sewer systems demands specialized knowledge and equipment, and improper installation can result in severe water damage, code violations, and potential health hazards. Most municipalities require permits for plumbing modifications, and these often stipulate that licensed professionals must perform work. Consider limiting your involvement to simpler tasks like painting or basic finishing work.

The timeframe for adding plumbing to a detached garage spans one to three days for the actual plumbing work. However, this represents only the active installation period. The complete project timeline must account for planning, obtaining permits (which can take weeks depending on your locality), coordinating multiple contractors if needed, and addressing any unexpected challenges that arise during installation. Weather conditions can also impact excavation and outdoor connection work.

Adding plumbing to a detached garage will likely increase your property taxes. Tax assessors consider plumbing an improvement that enhances property value and functionality. The specific tax impact varies by location and project scope. Converting a garage into living space with plumbing facilities can trigger significant reassessment in many jurisdictions. Before proceeding with your project, consult your local tax assessor's office to understand the potential tax implications and factor this ongoing expense into your decision-making process.
