"The entire procedure was excellent from start to finish. The salesman/installer, Luke Dane, came and measures my windows. He was very personable and professional. He gave me all the choices I had for the windows and did not pressure or "sell" me on anything that I did not need for want. The work was top notch. He made sure that everything was perfect before he left and even let me know that if there was a problem please give him a call and he would come back and make adjustments. The windows are beautiful. I will definately use May's Construction in the future."

"This regards a huge repair job after a pipe burst in our rental condo. It did happen a couple of years ago (December 2014) but it remains in my memory as a truly positive experience. The water destroyed the drywall in several rooms. We contacted Gary through Home Asvisor Handyman for the repairs. He contacted us soon after. When he arrived little did he know we actually had several projects that we needed done so we could sell the condo. Gary listened to our needs and then organized how the projects would be completed. The projects included the drywall repair for the living room, dining room, repair of the pipe that burst, added an access door to the plumbing area where the busted pipe occurred, installed tile flooring in the kitchen, replaced all the cabinets in the kitchen, installed a new kitchen light fixture, organized the replacement of the counter tops, reorganized the kitchen plan so the refrigerator and stove were not side by side, installed a new kitchen faucet and fixed the faucet after a couple of weeks when the interior piece was found to be defective, remodeled th entire bathroom tiling on the floor and walls, installed a new tub and fixtures, replaced the entry door and screen door, replaced all the interior doors, painted the entire place, fixed a longstanding problem for two side by side 8 foot windows by removing them and repairing the woodwork as well as refininshing the walls afterwards (in the middle of winter!--impressive). He helped us make decisions and worked with whatever selections we made in such a timely manner. He was in contact with us throughout the projects and provided us all the receipts, estimates, and final costs for each project that he undertook. He even would send picures as the projects progressed or were completed. He was so easy to work with and we appreciated him and hos work immensely! "Well, the first time the replacement was ordered it was the wrong one, which of course, delayed the installation a week. When it was finally installed I had to pay an additional $850 for code upgrades. This I was not informed of by Home Shield. Then we noticed that there was water on the garage floor and found that the pipe coming in from the wall was leaking at the wall so had to call the plumbing company back out to fix it. They first tried to say it was not their fault but since there wasn't a leak before they installed they did fix it. I have used Home Shield a few times before and never had a problem. Some of the companies they use are not the best so you have to research them before you commit. I have found HS service to be good if you do your homework. At the end of the day I was without hot water for almost 3 weeks but it was do to the plumbing company they sent out."
