"Dissatisfied with this company and cannot recommend their services. Based on our experience, making money is more important than providing quality service. Water leaks into our new patio enclosure and this company refuses to resolve this issue, no longer responds to us. Cannot upload photos because they are, apparently, too large. A $42k useless structure!"

"We recently had DC Enclosures, Inc. screen in our porch, adding rails and two doors, and the entire experience was outstanding from start to finish. From the very first email from project manager Thom Ingram, everything ran smoothly and professionally - truly top-notch service with not a single slip along the way. Our first phone call was handled with care, and when Trisha Sheffield came out for the initial overview and measurements, she immediately won me over with her knowledge, friendliness, and professionalism. I made the decision to hire DC Enclosures right then and there without a single doubt, and I’m so glad I did. The crew that worked on our project was fantastic—skilled, courteous, and efficient. They treated our home with respect and delivered exactly what we envisioned. Thank you DC Enclosures! "

"I had damage to my ceiling that needed prompt attention. Alex came out the same day to assess the situation, explained what needed to be done, cleaned up the affected area, and provided a clear estimate. The very next day, his team arrived and completed the work — repairing the damaged ceiling, blending and repainting so it matched seamlessly, and leaving the space clean and orderly when they finished. This is the second project they’ve completed for me, and once again the work was professional, timely, and well done. I trust their process and their results. I’ll absolutely be calling them back for future remodeling projects and would confidently recommend them to others."

"Project went well and Titan really worked hard to pull off all the permitting and local requirements for this project. All the teams working were top quality, respectful professionals who renovated our basement. Titan added in a kitchen, full bathroom, flooring, electrical, lighting, all new plumbing including sump pump and slab cuts. In addition a new HVAC and tankless water heater were installed. The final product was above expectations and within budget. We have since hired Titan for an additional project."

We are local construction company specialize in roofing and general construction; siding, painting, design, build and remodel. You can contact us with any construction questions you may have. We will respond with honesty and most sincere way. Thank you

"PLEASE READ: Mark was great to work with in the beginning. After I did calculations for some items, Mark became angry and stopped communicating. Before construction could continue, I needed to get an electrician out because there was a real issue. Mark insisted there wasn't. After I insisted and called him out on his lack of communication, he said he was sending over his electrician the next morning. I cancelled plans and stayed home to wait on electrician. I never heard from Mark and he did not respond to texts. I called and he said there was nothing wrong and a new switch was installed. I called an electrician. There was an issue and the new switch was not installed. We also agreed that I would pay for flooring materials on main floor(lvp and underlayment) and Mark would demo and level kitchen and provide transition and baseboard. The floor is sloped in an area and there is a random square board and cuts in wood in more than one area. Mark used my old cheap laminate as a transition board on the stairs. This is not a joke or exaggeration. In addition, Mark did not use the underlayment that I purchased at his recommendation. Mark’s company cut and painted flooring on my gray stained covered porch without putting anything down. I have this on blink video occurring all day. There was paint and dust all over the porch. Mark does not apologize ever. The area had sharp small nails on stairs that were not even worked on. Mark said my request to correct this is ridiculous and said he would not repair slope. I’ve given him every opportunity to repair. I asked for an additional contract so we could let the contract guide us instead. Mark refused to add repairing of slope area and ignores me about underlayment. I asked him not to continue work or send his guys back for other work(He is doing insurance work on bottom floor.) Mark sent his guys twice after this and they just came into the house. I sent them home on Labor Day and texted Mark that I explicitly asked him not to be on the property until we had a signed agreement. His response was they could just work in garage. Update: 9/9/24! Mark is now demanding I take the reviews down or he won’t repair floors. The nightmare continues. He said he is putting a lien on my house. He says I am preventing him from doing the work but that is a complete lie. Read all details above to understand."

"They did a great job. They worked with my schedule"

"They did a great job. They worked with my schedule"

Bob T on August 2025

"The contractor contacted us through Angi's List and represented himself as honest, reliable, and communicative. We explained upfront that we had recently experienced serious issues with a broker and movers and were specifically seeking a professional contractor to avoid further problems. The contractor visited the property to review the scope of work. A second visit occurred with another individual who took measurements and advised on project timing. We entered into a contract with an agreed-upon completion timeframe of approximately 5 6 weeks. Shortly after work began, communication became inconsistent. The contractor represented that materials had been ordered for the project. We later confirmed this was not true. Despite repeated written requests, the contractor failed to provide clear updates, timelines, or proof that materials had been purchased. The contractual completion deadline passed with substantial work incomplete. Workers left the property and removed their tools, creating the appearance that the job had been abandoned. No clear explanation or written plan was provided regarding when or how work would resume. Worker Nonpayment Escalation. We were contacted directly by the contractor's workers, who stated they had not been paid and that a $2,000 check issued to them had bounced. This raised serious concerns about professionalism, reliability, and potential risk to us as homeowners. At no point did the contractor adequately address these concerns in writing. Concerns Regarding Specific Worker (Luis) Luis, who had previously performed electrical work, behaved in an unprofessional manner. We made clear that we do not consent to Luis performing any further work on our property in any capacity. Despite this, the contractor attempted to reassign him to complete the remaining work without our approval. Final Communication and Termination After a continued lack of response, misrepresentations regarding materials, missed deadlines, and worker nonpayment issues, trust was irreparably broken. We issued written notice terminating the contract, revoking access to the property, and requesting an accounting of payments, work completed, and materials purchased. All further communication was requested to be in writing only. Summary The contractor failed to meet contractual obligations, misrepresented material purchases, ignored written communications, and allowed the project to stall. Worker nonpayment and bounced checks created additional risk and instability. Due to these cumulative issues, termination of the contract was necessary and justified. The contractor visited the property twice, took measurements, and we entered into a contract with a 5 6 week completion timeline. Soon after work began, communication became inconsistent. The contractor stated that materials had been ordered; we later confirmed this was not true. Despite multiple written requests, he failed to provide clear updates, timelines, or proof of material purchases. The agreed completion deadline passed with significant work unfinished. Workers left the property and removed their tools, giving the appearance that the job had been abandoned. No clear written plan was provided for resuming or completing the work. Due to misrepresentation regarding materials, lack of written documentation, missed deadlines, repeated payment requests without transparency, worker nonpayment issues, and an overall breakdown of trust, we terminated the contract in writing and revoked access to our property. We are seeking accountability, reimbursement for payments made for incomplete work, and appropriate action to help prevent similar experiences for other homeowners. "

FAQs for sunroom or patio enclosure building service projects in Sandy Springs, GA

A sunroom is a fully enclosed space with walls of windows or glass. It allows you to enjoy the outdoors from the comfort of the indoors, protected from bugs and weather. It functions as an additional room in your home. A covered patio extends your home's roof over an outdoor area, providing shade and shelter while remaining open to the fresh air. It's a great way to enjoy outdoor living while being protected from sun and rain.

Adding screens to your porch is the most budget-friendly way to enclose it. Screening keeps out insects and debris while letting you enjoy the breeze and outdoor ambiance. It's less expensive than installing full walls or glass enclosures and doesn't usually require permits, making it an efficient way to upgrade your porch.

If you're transforming your porch into a fully enclosed living space like a sunroom, you'll likely need a sturdy foundation, such as a reinforced concrete slab, to support the structure. For a simple screened-in porch, you might be able to use the existing floor and support posts without additional foundation work. It's best to consult a professional to determine what's needed for your project.

An enclosed porch can be considered a living space if it's fully enclosed with solid walls and windows, has a proper roof, and includes heating and cooling systems. It should also have direct access from inside your home. When these criteria are met, the space becomes an extension of your home's livable area.
