"Brian is "peace of mind", concerning the remediation of mold. He will not stop removing drywall until he sees no further evidence of it. He treats all wooden framework until no further discolorations are visibled, retreating if necessary. Flooring is treated, all rooms, closets and bathrooms are treated. The chemical used is people and pet safe, FDA approved for use in restaurants, even. Machines are utilized to ionize the air in the entire house. Hepa filters are used to trap all undesirables, and a huge exhaust fan expells air from the home during the entire process. At one point he saw some growth that was of concern and advised me to mask up. Who does that? Brian knows this process and the science behind it, and he cares that the mold, no matter how severe, is eradicated from your home. I felt that the cost was very reasonable for amount of work that was done. Can I give them 10 stars?"

"It went great! They did some tests before and after, put in encapsulation and removed the sheetrock that had mold. They cleaned up everything and it was a good experience."

"I called this company because I was getting ready to purchase an older home that had been vacant for over two years. I made an offer that was contingent on passing inspection. Although I loved the house, I was hesitant to jump in without really scoping it out. <br /> I spoke with Todd the first time I called. He answered the phone on a Sunday evening too. He was exceedingly helpful, answered al my questions and explained the process very thoroughly and in plain English. I told him I wanted the extra inspections, even though it was a little out of the ordinary, because of the fact the house had been empty for so long. <br /> On the appointed day and time, Jay Tappen came out to do the inspections. He was punctual and very professional. He let me follow him around during the inspection, explaining everything he was doing. He patiently answered my questions as we went along and made a few recommendations on some minor issues he found. Jay finished up, made sure I was satisfied with anything I didn't know and then promised to deliver (via email) all the inspection reports within a day. <br /> I was not disappointed. Jay came through, the house passed with flying colors and thanks to Jay's and this company's expertise, I will be closing on my new home tomorrow (as of this writing).  <br /> I highly recommend this company and would use them again if I ever needed them. My cost for the inspections are higher than normal, because I wanted them to do pretty much every inspection possible, above and beyond the standard 101-point version. <br />"

"Lumber Liquidators sold me laminate flooring. I was very happy with the quality and beauty of the laminate floors. Recently they have had issues with chemicals coming from the flooring and if that was true then I would need for them, or worst case, me to replace them. Therefore, it was important to know if there was a problem. I hired Indoor Air Quality Solutions to come with equipment and test all the rooms. Lydia came and she was very pleasant and used testing equipment and there was no problem. I have a written report so show anyone in the future that may rent or buy the house. The testing all went well and I can recommend this service. <br />"

"Had a leak from a shower next to my bedroom and the water got under my floorboards. Moldmasters came in and removed flooring and baseboards and treated the area with there dry fog system. Killed all the mold and musty smell in the room. They dry fogged the hvac system as well. Smiple and painless. A plus rating from us?"

FAQs for toxic lead testing projects in Sanford, FL

If your home was built before 1978, there’s a strong chance it contains lead-based paint. Many pre-1980 houses also contain lead in their plumbing and decorative materials, so age alone is a significant red flag. Older homes near industrial areas face an even higher risk. Because you can’t confirm lead by sight, scheduling a test is the safest way to protect your family.

In older houses, lead can lurk in painted trim, window sashes, soil around the foundation, plumbing pipes, and even vintage hardware. The metal is toxic, and children and pregnant women are most at risk. Exposure can trigger developmental delays, learning problems, and organ damage. Because the EPA links even low levels to serious health effects, test every suspected surface and address any hazards right away.

A positive test means lead is present somewhere you can touch, breathe, or disturb. The next step is a full risk assessment to map exactly where the hazard lies and outline the safest fix: encapsulation, enclosure, or full removal. Repairs start at $1,000 but can exceed $10,000 for complete elimination, so act quickly and hire certified pros to keep your family safe.

EPA lead certification proves that inspectors, risk assessors, and abatement contractors follow federal safety rules under the Renovation, Repair, and Painting (RRP) Program. The credential costs an average of $300, and certified professionals can legally test, contain, or remove lead hazards. Hiring a certified pro protects you from fines and ensures the work meets strict health standards.

Lead-based paint looks no different from any other paint, so you can’t identify it by color or sheen. Even flawless walls may hide it. If paint starts chipping, flaking, or peeling, schedule a professional test right away. Only laboratory-grade testing confirms lead and guides the safest fix for your home.
