"James Lord of Lord Roofing went above and beyond my expectations. The crew was incredibly skilled, and they installed a beautiful and functional new roof. But it wasn't just about the quality of work. They kept me informed, explaining what they were doing and how long things would take. I had expected that there would be plywood sheeting under the old roof, but that turned out to be incorrect. When the old roof came off most of it needed additional plywood, there was also dry rot in places that needed some carpentry work James took care of fixing them for me without any hassle. They cleaned up the job site meticulously every day, there were a lot of nails and debris from the old roof that they picked up, leaving my property spotless. Overall, Lord Roofing provided a truly exceptional experience, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable and professional roofing company. One note that I feel is important: Skilled workers are hard to find and probably harder to keep. I received the quote in August, and James estimated the start date to be a few months later, around October. However, they did not start until November. My roof took longer to complete than was expected due to having to sheet the entire house with plywood and of course in November the weather was a bit of a problem. This meant that anyone scheduled after me would be delayed by a few weeks. James could have rushed the crew and potentially compromised on quality to get done sooner but he didnâ t. Be patient. These guys work tremendously hard, and they don't cut corners. It's impossible for them to know exactly how long the ten jobs ahead of you will take, but waiting is worth it to get a quality roof that you expect to last 30 or 40 years."

We contacted NewHaus roofing and construction company and were warmly greeted by Joseph one of their representatives. He helped us negotiate a great price along with the advice from his supervisor Gregory. We chose a beautiful terra cotta replacement and the work was diligently completed in two days thanks to the craftsmanship of Pedro and his crew. "This roofing job started off bad and continued to the finish. I wanted a professional with a few requirements. Be careful of original structure as it is prefabbed. The workers punched twelve holes in sheeting removing old roof material, requiring sheeting overlay. I requested that roofing nails not protrude through roof in patio area. They were protruding through the entire area. They left refuge sitting on the side of the driveway until I asked to have it removed. The one-week job turned into a two-month Odessey. The job was obviously a side job, piece-mealed together with little supervision little supervision. I am not confident the roof will not fail. prematurely fail. "

ODR included the amount of the cost of the permit in the overall job honestly to include some travel time and expense to Sacramento. Honesty is a very important aspect of any business dealings. "Pete (the owner) and his roofing crew (Genaro, Alberto, Pedro) were great! Pete replied promptly to my initial inquiry and came out right away to look at the roof. Following that, it took somewhat longer than I had hoped to get an initial bid and to actually start the job, but his bid turned out to be lower than the others, and I could see that the delay was for the right reason -- Pete always prioritizes the roof he's already working on to make sure it's done well and as quickly as possible, so a house doesn't stay unprotected for longer than necessary. Once they finally finished earlier projects and started working on our roof, they were 100% on task from start to finish. They are a small company and ours was a complex, 4000+ square foot roof that required ordering special materials along the way, so it took about a month to complete the job with 3 guys working 40 hours per week. However, I really appreciated the way they always started promptly on time each day and worked closely with my wife and I throughout the entire process to make sure work was being done exactly as we (and the City's historic rules) needed it done. Pete and his crew were friendly and very accommodating of special requests related to the historic peculiarities of our house, skylights, neighbor's concerns about parking, etc. Many parts of the roof required creative, on-the-fly problem solving, due to the non-standard construction of our 1800's house. Genaro, especially, was great at innovative problem solving and did beautiful work, but everyone on the team was super dedicated, hard working, and skilled. We have already had one heavy downpour since the new roof went on, and not a single drop got through! I can confidently recommend Positive Results Roofing if you are looking for a small, personable company that is licensed and bonded and does quality roof replacements or repairs for a reasonable price."
