The job was to repair a floor that had been flooded back in March. He and his partner took out the floor and the wall where the waterheater was located. "The work described above is the completion of building a basement under a pre-existing summer home in the mountains of northern New Mexico. Prior to this work, all other work (initial building of the structure in 1971, all interior finishing work, insulating, wiring, plumbing, etc, and then excavating under that existing building while holding it up with jacks, and building the basement walls, installing windows, doors, plumbing and electrical) had been done by me. As you may imagine, my standards are very high (I grew up in a family of general contractors in another part of the country) So, with that background, I can knowledgeably and confidently state that the work performed by Juan Baca and his crew was performed very professionally (exceeding all my expectations for quality) and considerably below my cost estimate. His work schedule was timely and efficiently executed. I am very pleased and proud of the work he did!"
