"Our solid oak front door was faded and weathered. Joe from Browder Painting in San Luis Obispo, painstakingly stripped and hand sanded the old varnish off of the door, conditioned the wood, stained the door with a lovely cherry wood finish, and applied two coats of satin varnish to protect the finish. Joe was an outstanding workman. He was extremely courteous, always arrived on time, and cheerfully answered all of my questions. All of the staff and crew from Browder have been exceptional. "To complete the job required too many touch up trips for items that should have already been addressed. We were promised two coats of paint on the doors but received one coat of primer and one finish coat. The finish on the doors was substandard until they put on another coat of paint. There was not enough scraping and sanding on certain areas and had to be redone. The touch up paint provided did not match. The end result was decent but required too much follow up. <br />"
