"Mario and his guys were great. He bid a 3 man crew for 1 day, but had one guy out sick so he sent a whole second crew to finish in the one day promised. I noticed a couple limbs I thought would be trimmed that weren’t after they left and Mario said immediately that he’ll have a couple guys come out to trim them within a couple days. Friendly, polite, and they haul it away or offer to leave the mulch if you want it! Too bad I have a walnut tree and couldn’t use it."

Gave an estimate and said if you are willing to do it tomorrow when crews are in the neighborhood he could give me a discount. (trying to keep the crews busy). When I checked the license, it showed it was suspended due to workmans comp issues. When they showed me the insurance papers, I called to verify.  It took several phone calls to several persons, but finally found out that the owner had just made a payment that morning and it hadn't been posted yet.  Needless to say, I did not have the tree removed.    Can't impress upon people enought to check licnese and insurance status.
