"McDonough's is my go-to for any drain problems!  The guys who came were very professional, helpful and all around great.  They worked a tough clog out of the drain line coming from the laundry room, then checked the main sewer line from the house and did some preventative clearing on some roots (the house has a history of roots clogging the main line and McDonough's has cleared it twice already, which the guys knew so they checked while they were already there and had the equipment ready).  The work was well done, they replaced some aging parts proactively, and they cleaned everything up like they had never been there.  Fantastic!

"Jon was responsive via email which I prefer. I know that many contractor types are not into email, but it is much easier for me than stepping out of a meeting and playing phone tag with someone. We were still trying to schedule something but he contacted me and asked if I was available for an opening they had that day (It was a holiday so I happened to have the day off). They arrived on schedule. They made a point to put on boot covers in my house. They looked at the work and gave me a quote quickly. One of the best things about this company is that they have a flat fee-based pricing system. They have different categories based on how complex the job is. My project was a "Level 2" so it was about $150 for each valve. This includes parts and labor. I have found over the years that businesses that charge for labor hours tend to land at very arbitrary fees. Projects can become very expensive very quickly. They finished the work but advised me that they discovered the main water shutoff valves were corroded and failing. He strongly advised me to replace those as without them I would have to rely on the city to turn off my water in the event of a water emergency or if I wanted to do work. This was at an additional cost but I decided to do it as I was aware of the problems this could cause. They were able to get the city out to turn off the water at the street shutoff and got the work done within an hour. They covered my floors with mats to protect them as they had to take frequent trips in and out of the house. All in all, I was very satisfied with the quality and professionalism of their work. I would definitely use them again in the future."

"Outstanding!! In no time, the drains were running free and clear of that disgusting buildup that I never knew existed. This contractor definitely knew what he was doing. Before leaving he carefully cleaned the little bit of unavoidable mess (really really minimal!) and all I had to do was return a few displaced household items from under my sink. I was extremely happy with the service which is guaranteed for 90 days. Scheduling was very flexible and, upon arrival, the contractor went right to work, not wasting any time. He was very pleasant and answered all my questions. Great service at a great price! Contractor had a service coupon on Angies List that I used and cost was lowest I found anywhere (well below $100). "Been having problems with garbage disposal and the pipes underneath sink loosened up. Decided that didn't want the disposal anymore. Gave Chris a call and got appointment scheduled. They were prompt and got the work done neatly. Removed the disposal and fixed and replacednecessary piping. Also decided to have them remove two soap dispensers that were not functioning and since then I bought two faucet hole plugs and put those in. Everything is working great. They are really good plumbers."

"We hired Chris to clean our carpets on the main floor and basement. It turned out so nice. Chris was professional, friendly and was even kind to our dogs who kept trying to get in his way, even though we tried to keep them away from the work area. He answered all the questions we had, and when he was finished he cleaned up after himself, and the carpets smelled so good. He was able to get rid of a few stains that we could never get out.
