"Let me first start by saying I am a picky person. I have a business myself for over 28 years. I found the company South Shore Roofing on the web and requested a quote. Damin the sales representative came to my home and evaluated the condition of my roof on our main house and our guest. We had a whole in guest house roof from a tree branch. The main house was missing multiple shingles from wind damage. He returned within a couple days with the quote and helped with insurance claim paperwork. Brent the site Forman contacted me when the material arrived and supervised the roofing crew. The 7 man roofing crew was fantastic, truly amazing. There work ethics was nothing shy of fantastic. It felt like they were in competition between each other while they we working. Two brothers and 5 cousins working together. I would recommend this company to everyone needing roof repairs. "In 2010 they hag to come out and fix leak. Now in 2016 more leaks appeared. Looked and found that the ridge vent was not installed to manufacture specs. End piece not used, so water has been going directly in our attic, but because it took mother nature 6 years from first leak (9 years from install) ... statue says we are out of luck getting it repaired. They used old rusted nails for the boots and skylight and no sealant on anything. Brian Horton says he has 5 year warranty and no concern even though it was his negligence. Also rafter was was not repaired properly ... board used was decking wood and it was not flush to support rafter. We have mold throughout attic on rafters. Ridge vent cuts are not vented and some are cut all the way into soffit area. 2 different style of ridge vents were used (why?). Used old vent boots instead of replacing (if needed) and reused old nails. I would stay away because his work in not honorable and very slow to respond even if it's not related to repair."
