"Ed was great and came out and tested for mold in several areas of my house and did not find any. He was very thorough and professional. He did not charge me, even though I offered to pay him, as his company does not charge for initial inspections. Side note - I was able to set up the appointment over the holidays while he was on a short vacation for the holidays. I would definitely recommend this company for mold inspection/testing."

"I called them on Monday morning. An appointment was set up for Tuesday am. Todd was quick to respond to my questions an was very accommodating. The thorough inspection was performed on time and was as thorough as though we had been there. The verbal report was given over the phone. We later received our emailed report as promised."

"Our initial contact with Mr. Johnson was very pleasant. He was very professional, asked specific questions to gain an understanding of what we needed and was very accommodating to our timeline. <br />Mr. Johnson contacted us when he was on his way to the appointment and during the appointment made sure that he explained what was being done and why he was doing it. Mr. Johnson completed the inspection, explained his findings and provided an estimate as to when the report would be completed; exceeded that expectation. The next day I had a detailed report including images of all the items that needed to be fixed and the stability of the home. Not only did he send the report ahead of the expected date but he also followed up to ensure that I received the report and extended his assistance if we had any questions. I would highly recommend Frontline Inspections. <br />"

"We have used Remediation 911 a few times and will continue to use them for any future needs. They tested our condo as part of the inspection process, as well as tested our daughters apartment when we suspected mold. They are very knowledgable and explained the entire process as well as the reports. I highly recommend using Remediation 911, we refer them to our friends and family. This is a family owned company you can trust."

"They were my one stop for all my home service after my mold and water remediation. I didn't have to deal with multiple contractors, handymen, restoration people or any other companies. The owner, Oscar, was involved in the process from the beginning to the end. I felt very comfortable with his professional team handling the reconstruction project following the remediation and cleanup of the water loss. The staff was so organized that a lot of my personal items were able to return to its pre- loss condition.  They provided superior work and I felt like a valuable customer! <br />"

FAQs for toxic lead testing projects in Sarasota, FL

If your home was built before 1978, there’s a strong chance it contains lead-based paint. Many pre-1980 houses also contain lead in their plumbing and decorative materials, so age alone is a significant red flag. Older homes near industrial areas face an even higher risk. Because you can’t confirm lead by sight, scheduling a test is the safest way to protect your family.

In older houses, lead can lurk in painted trim, window sashes, soil around the foundation, plumbing pipes, and even vintage hardware. The metal is toxic, and children and pregnant women are most at risk. Exposure can trigger developmental delays, learning problems, and organ damage. Because the EPA links even low levels to serious health effects, test every suspected surface and address any hazards right away.

A positive test means lead is present somewhere you can touch, breathe, or disturb. The next step is a full risk assessment to map exactly where the hazard lies and outline the safest fix: encapsulation, enclosure, or full removal. Repairs start at $1,000 but can exceed $10,000 for complete elimination, so act quickly and hire certified pros to keep your family safe.

EPA lead certification proves that inspectors, risk assessors, and abatement contractors follow federal safety rules under the Renovation, Repair, and Painting (RRP) Program. The credential costs an average of $300, and certified professionals can legally test, contain, or remove lead hazards. Hiring a certified pro protects you from fines and ensures the work meets strict health standards.

Lead-based paint looks no different from any other paint, so you can’t identify it by color or sheen. Even flawless walls may hide it. If paint starts chipping, flaking, or peeling, schedule a professional test right away. Only laboratory-grade testing confirms lead and guides the safest fix for your home.
