He came to measure the fireplace, discuss the job and gave it careful thought. Gladys then gave me much additional information as I thought through the options, and Eric helped me select the traditional full insert when I came into the showroom. I especially appreciated Penguin’s dedication to customer service when I changed my mind about Penguin doing the tile work at the last minute. This was very inconvenient for them but they were gracious and made sure the new tile installers had all the information they needed to do a great job. And Ephrain came back to install the doors after the tile work was done, taking extra care that they were hung correctly and taking extra time to show me the details of the remote control I admire the approach Penguin Fireplace takes and I am thrilled with my new fireplace. It makes a big difference when the people running an operation have great values. I highly recommend Penguin Fireplace."

He was extremely flexible in scheduling the work around an extremely tight schedule since we wanted the fence in before we could move into our newly purchased home. He was able to complete the fence within a few days, and schedule time to return to paint the fence and gates so that we would have it finished in time to move in with our golden retriever within a short period of time after the house was purchased. "The gutter replacement went well, but they left nails, sharp scraps of cut aluminum, and broken plant pots in their wake. Outdoor furniture was moved for the installation but not returned to their original location afterward. I have two small children, so the nails and sharp metal scraps were the most disconcerting. I felt the installers rushed and didn't think ahead. The owner did the estimates and was very responsive."

"They technicians were very helpful. The owner was very good. We were looking for different inserts and they were very helpful in making recommendations for outside the house, as to what we needed for an insert. They advised an EPA compliant unit and we had a couple of adjustment issues which needed to be worked upon. They had a few contractors who dealt with chimneys, who were very good. They were very knowledgeable and carried several types of inserts. I liked their services and will use the same in future."

"Adam did a great job. He was on time, inspected the chimney and said it was cleaner than he would have expected given the length of time since the last cleaning. He gave me the option of deferring the cleaning for several months, which would save the added cost. I chose to have the cleaning done instead of scheduling a second visit. Adam put down tarps to protect the carpeting, brought in his tools and went to work immediately. It seemed like he was in and out in no time! I would definitely recommend him."
