"My front door was a mess. The stain was fading and the shellac was chipping off. It looked horrible. So I decided to buy a new front door. Got several bids, which arranged between $1800 and $15,000. Went on Angie’s list and found Fernando. He came out. Spent a whole day, sanding and prepping the door. Then he came back and put a 2 coats of polyurethane on it. The door now looks better than New. And this all for a fraction of the cost of a new door. I definitely recommend Fernando, and plan to have him come back this summer to work on my rear deck"

"We recently hired Urbinas to paint our front door and wouldn't recommend them. Ulysses came out to paint the door only to tell us that he wasn't able to paint a door that wasn't hung in the doorway and asked us to get our contractor to hang the door and install the hardware before painting. After having the door installed Ulysses and his father painted the door but forgot to paint the top and bottom of the door which voided our warranty with the door company. The door company came out and asked if we had hired someone who was licensed and bonded because the work didn't reflect someone who follows the Painting and Decorating Contractors of America standards. When we asked for a refund Ulysses blamed us saying we should have told him to paint the top and bottom and we are now left with a door that is now out of warranty and have to pay for another licensed and bonded painter to fix the mistake."
