"I hired Slate Builders in Oct. of 2023 to tear down and rebuild my deck with new floor, new railings and new steps. Also to replace railings on front porch. My deck, steps and its railings was replaced in 2024. It was agreed that they would start in the spring, but it was July before it got started. I was told that the front porch railings would be started as soon as the deck was done. I was given one excuse after the other that they could not get the materials. They finally got them and sent me a bill which I paid immediately. My bill for deck was also paid immediately. The porch materials were finally dropped off at the end of Oct. when it was getting too cold to work. They never mentioned not doing the job. They dropped them and ran!! The materials are still sitting in my garage. I have called numerous times and left messages with no replies, texted with no reply, and sent an email with no response. My son has called numerous times and NO ONE answers the phones. Hired other!!!"
