"Darla and her crew did a large landscaping project for us that required bark, trees and plants to be removed from several areas around our house as well as create a new bed in front of our pool equipment. Her vision for our yard was exactly what we wanted. We had other bids, but when Darla showed us her drawing, she was the only one that was very creative and came up with a one of a kind unique plan. She was at our house every day working hard along side her crew and stayed late each day. We could not be more pleased with our beautiful new plants, trees and the rock selected for our beds. "I recently completed a large pool and deck renovation project with Surfside Pavers. The work involved the setting of more than 2500 square feet of large format 20 mm and 10 mm porcelain tile. The job was quite challenging for a variety of reasons but particularly because of the multiple elevations and the many complicated angles involved. I have to say it was executed to perfection. Surfside’s attention to detail was exemplary. I never saw anyone setting tile without simultaneously verifying their work with a large level. As a result, the tiles were all perfectly aligned with one another and the drainage of the deck was even better than promised. I particularly want to thank Keith Spalding for overseeing the project. He always made time to explain their plans and intentions and patiently answered my many questions. It was obvious he had complete control of the situation and was absolutely dedicated to making our vision a reality. I would recommend Surfside Pavers unreservedly. We do stump grinding, land clearing, rock & milling delivery/installation, culvert installation, tractor work, fill dirt, sand, and rock/shell delivery & installation. We also do hardscape such as paver stones and can make any outdoor kitchen, patio, or pool deck idea come to life. We are certified by the ISA for arborists and have Pest Control & Herbicide certification & licensure so we do tree removal, tree trimming, and tree injections. We appreciate our clients!

"I clearly stated I wanted a contractor who would give me a product I wouldn?t have to tend to. He laid rock and mulch WITHOUT putting a commercial plastic down for weed prevention. He said he would have to charge me $1,000 more. He charged me $8,000.00 to start the job (cash $4,000 down and the rest upon completion. He never came back to put in a drain screen he was throwing in. My job was not very big at all. I will say his guys were sweet. I am 71 disabled female Air Force Vet and my 19 year old granddaughter lives with me. He has stood me up to do a few things for over 2 1/2 weeks. I am constantly weeding and spraying which if he did the job correctly it would have not had happened 2 days after completion. I had another company come by today and took my stump out $200.00. Whereas Hackford wanted to charge me $450 only to level the stump. Hackford had taken advantage of my situation. He also quoted me a smaller area for around $3500.00. Buyer beware - "
