She worked within our budget and took out some plants/shrubbery and installed new ones. She came back a few months later to do a clean up and to check on everything. Our landscaping now gets compliments for our neighbors on a weekely basis. She is very professional, knowledgeable and a joy to work with. Her prices are very reasonable and we will go to her in the future should we need any work done I would highly recommend her should you need any landscaping done. "Nathan surveyed the 3/4 of the St. Augustine grass lawn needing replacement. His excellent, well-trained, happy (!) crew were very pleasant. They killed the old lawn and cut it down to dirt. After a week, they returned to kill off any remaining Bermuda grass shoots. After the sod was delivered (9 pallets), they spent one day installing it, including careful trimming of pieces to make a perfect fit at boundaries with grass that was left in place. The result was remarkably flat and did not look like a sod replacement but a normal lawn!  My sprinkler guy, whowas in the sod business for decades, said it was the best job he had ever seen. I got good advice about the watering regimen to keep the grass going but avoid fungus.

"The technician went into my yard and immediately found a leak... tiny bubbles coming up in the soil.  I'd have never spotted that!  
Unfortunately, I still have a very high water bill and my leak may be beyond their ability to find it.  I am looking for a leak specialist now.
The technician was very professional and very helpful!  He explained where the leak was coming from and how he was going to fix it.  There was another leak that he didn't fix.  He came back and gave me a break on my bill for not fixing the other leak.  Very fair.

"The last few years my knees have started to go bad and I've been unable to take care of my landscaping like I used to.  I've been getting by with occasional "help" from my husband and by hiring my grandkids for some things, but it was getting totally out of hand.  So when I saw Angie's List had a Deal in September for 4 hours of landscape work for $149 with In The Sun Lawn Maintenance I jumped on it, even though I really wanted to wait until spring.  The deal said it was good for 6 months and after I bought it I got a call from Brian and he said it was no problem to wait that long to use it, and it could go even longer if I wanted.
In March I contacted Brian and he set up an appointment to come and do the work.  He and his crew showed up a few minutes earlier than the appointment time, we walked around the yard and talked about what to do.  He had 2 guys with him so the 4 man-hours of work was 1 hour 20 minutes of clock time, which was fine.  I had way more stuff that needed to be done than could possibly happen in that amount of time so we agreed they would work another clock hour (3 man hours) for an additional (and reasonable) fee.  Still couldn't get everything done but it looks WAY better and I'm happy with what did get done.
Their work was excellent, and I'm a picky landscaper.  They pruned large bushes, pulled weeds, and cleared out some overgrown weedy seedlings that were trying to get established.  They cleaned up the mess and piled the cuttings by the road where I told them to.  They were friendly and professional and I wouldn't hesitate to call them again.  In fact, when I go to list my house for sale in a few months I'll probably call them to come back and clean the yard up some more!
My only complaint about the whole deal is with Angie's List.  I seemed to get an email from them every two weeks or so reminding me to leave feedback.  I understand they want feedback, but I wish they had a way for me to indicate I haven't used the service yet but plan to do so in the future.  Minor detail, but the nagging got pretty annoying.
