"Outstanding! We had an existing underground fence system from a competitor that was not working properly. Dave spoke with me and determined that the issue was likely due to a substandard wire from the original system that had corroded. He volunteered that Hidden Fence could come out and bury a new wire, keeping the existing generator and collar at a significantly cheaper cost than purchasing an entirely new system. He turned me over to their installer, Bruce who promptly arranged a time to complete the work. They arrived right on time and worked quickly and efficiently, installing a higher grade wire. The yard barely has any marks in it and the system is working perfectly. My experience with Hidden Fence has been beyond expectations across the board - I would recommend them agin in a heart beat."

"Very happy with owner, salesman, and work crew. They rescued me after another contractor started the fence, then walked off the job. They put up most of the fence in the winter, put up temporary fence in the spots that could not be done due to the season, then returned in the spring to finish. They were very considerate of my indecisiveness by making suggestions that would fit my needs. They were very tolerant of, and pleasant to, my two obnoxious dogs. Since the fence has been in place, three different people have stopped to ask me who did the fence, because it looks so nice from the street."

"As can be expected from Cady, consistently high-quality work on multiple types of repairs. I called at 7 a.m. with concern of a leaking kitchen drainpipe (and tacked on two smaller, lower-priority problems) and got a return call from the owner (Paul) within an hour, assuring I could get service that day and a return call from the technician (Tom L) soon. That I did, and Tom arrived by 1:45, 15 minutes sooner than his earlier estimate. We discussed the problems and he examined the three areas (under-sink kitchen plumbing, bathroom wall tile, and bathroom sink). He removed the source of the kitchen leak (bad seal and cracked pipe elbow), fixed the slow-draining bathroom sink straightaway, and asked whether I wanted a quicker, cheaper glue fix or a more permanent grout repair for the ceramic tile. I opted for the latter, and Tom left for plumbing parts and grout. He got everything done within 2.5 hr, including the trip to the local hardware store. The repairs went as they should, and the tile repair is clean and professional-looking. I like Cady Handyman for their versatility, good work, and ability to respond within 36 hours to most problems. The only minor complaint I have is the tech failed to include the trip charge on the invoice, which prompted a call from him and our having to write a second check. However, he was very apologetic and volunteered to get the payment at a time and place convenient to us."

"Let me say, there are fencing companies, and then, there is Garden Structures & More.  You really cannot even begin to compare the two.  Hal is a top-notch craftsman from start to finish.  This was not a typical fencing job, where sections are brought in, posts are set into the ground and the sections attached to the posts.  This was an entirely different experience.  The fence was built on site, board by board.  The vertical boards in the lattice actually go all the way down to the bottom of the fence. Of course, doing it that way requires a bit of a mathematical genius, when you are dealing with different width boards in between the lattice boards-- especially when you get into the corners where sections need to be a different width from the standard size. I also realized how much care was taken in dealing with the slight level differences in my yard. Hal was careful to make adjustments when possible, so that the top line of the fence remained level, even though the ground did not.  It is sturdier than any fence I've ever seen, and the attention to detail is wonderful.  Every side of each board is routered to give it a softer edge.  The posts don't need a cap.  The tops are routered the same as the rest of the fence, and they look simple and clean, a lovely complement to the clean lines of the fence as a whole.  The double gate with arbor is really beautiful.  I'm not a fan of black hardware, and Hal supplied some beautiful stainless that looks so much nicer.  Hal started right on schedule, and ended exactly when he said he would.  And, he is very thoughtful.  Not only did he build me a beautiful fence, but he put up a bird feeder that I hadn't gotten around to doing myself, and even brought my garbage cans into the garage on garbage day!  In the days since the fence was completed, I have received many compliments on the fence and arbors from people walking by.  And, they have also commented on what a nice crew installed my fence-- that it seemed like a great group of guys.  I would use Garden Structures and More again, in a heartbeat.  It was a great experience!

"My name is Matt T. My wife Dawn and I live in Bloomington. I'm writing this favorable review specifically to address the character and integrity of Hoffman Weber and specifically its president, Hoffman, and one of its sales agents, Jason Iwig. An honest mistake concerning the cost of particular material resulted in an erroneous estimate. A supplier hadn't been clear in identifying the material as a specialty item with significantly greater cost. This resulted in a brief delay in communication concerning the start of the project, as Hoffman Weber was attempting to resolve the dilemma behind the scenes -- and yes I became bervous and irate. Even though the firm would have made little or no profit, and quite possibly would have lost money on the deal, they made assurances that the project would be completed to my satisfaction. However, we wanted the siding in preparation for listing our home, and we simply could not proceed even a few days with any uncertainty, as time was of the essence. Hoffman Weber had several ways to handle this unique situation. Much to their credit, they chose to leave it up to us as to how it would be handled, repeatedly expressing their concern for our best interests and satisfaction. We live in a world of self-interested opportunists, and I've become cynical after several bad experiences with fly-by-night contractors over the years. I'm compelled to write this review because Hoffman Weber and Jason Iwig blew me away. They are as solid and professional as they come. They are people who care about their reputations in the community in which they work and live. I will recommend them to friends and family going forward and we look forward to having a chance to do business with them again. Thanks."

"Greene Construction knocked it out of the park for us once more. This is the third or fourth project we've had them do at our house, and it was a big one. They did most of the heavy lifting for our basement remodel project which included installing a new egress window, replacing an 8' picture window, replacing an entry door, framing the basement (family room, bathroom, shower, bedroom, closet, hallway) and other miscellaneous things along the way. Not only was the price right (as usual for these guys), and the work done well, but they always seem happy to be doing it. I like hiring people who love what they do. They go the extra mile to satisfy the customer, and that's why I keep hiring them back. On large jobs like this, setbacks and problems are inevitable, and not once did they ask for more money to complete the job. They just did what needed to get done even though it took longer. I am extremely satisfied with the work and plan on hiring them again in the future!"

"Ed and his crew were awesome to work with. He called back within minutes and we had his bid an hour or two later. After 4 other bids we ultimately went with Ed because he helps his crew on the roof. They do excellent work and the clean-up was great too. Roof was done in two days. Highly recommend Ed."

"This is my second time using American Fence. The first was a cedar batton board privacy fence at a rental property I own. The second was brown vinyl chain link and galvanized chain link at my residential home. Overall the installation of both fences was tremendous. Everything went on schedule and in the manner which I was told it would. I was able to purchase both fences at a cost of roughly 10% less than other bids I had recieved. There was a downpayment paid for all material.
Final payment, however, was not given until after completion and a final walk-thru. Upon conclusion my yard was so clean it seemed they had not even been there. I could not have been more satisfied. The owner of the company worked side by side with his employees, always something refreshing to see in my opinion. They were also very helpful and polite toward me and my family.

"They were fairly good. I thought they sales people were very knowledgeable  but there was 2 of them and I am not sure if that was a sales tactic or not. They were good but the too a really long time. I felt it was on the high side but I knew the carrier."
