Customers say: Terrific value

"Red the owner runs a professional business and is the type of guy you want to work with for an important project like this. Red was on time for our appointment for a quote, provided a thorough written breakdown of the services to be provided. Throughout the project, Red has called me multiple times to check in and make sure I am happy with the work being performed. His crew led by Augustine did an amazing job on our new walkway and front porch. These guys worked for 2 full days (one of which was a Sunday!) I wish I could add an image to this review to really show how beautiful this job turned out. I would highly recommend All About Asphalt for your next paver patio/walkway/porch/steps job."

"I was impressed with Central Jersey Driveways from the first time Mike came over to give me a free estimate! They worked through the NJ Blizzard of 2026 and did an absolutely beautiful job installing pavers in my driveway! The crew was hardworking and experienced. I would recommend Central Jersey Driveways for your next project. I will use them again when I need work done!"

"It went very well, the owner and workers worked diligently to take out the entire old driveway, constructed new Belgium blocks, then paved the Asphalt black tops. the job is well done with nice finishing. I am very happy that I was hiring the right company to do the project."

"Looks MUCH better. The only disappointment is that the filling of the large cracks can be seen through the seal coating. It reminds me of the first coat of paint on a new wall and the taping and spackling still shows through."

FAQs for asphalt paving installation projects in Sayreville, NJ

Most driveways wrap up in roughly a week. Allow two to three days for installation, followed by an additional two to three days for the surface to cure. Concrete and asphalt follow this timeline, whereas a gravel job often finishes more quickly. Laying out the schedule upfront makes it easier to plan your week and your budget.

Sealer prevents water, salt, and UV rays from damaging the surface. Apply a fresh coat every one to three years, and you’ll slow down the growth of cracks, avoid pricey repairs, and keep the driveway looking sharp. A local professional can handle the job efficiently and ensure even coverage.

Material is the significant driver when it comes to the lifespan of a driveway. Asphalt stays strong for about 20 years, concrete lasts 30 to 40 years, and paver stones can last 50 to 100 years because you can swap out damaged bricks. With regular top-ups, a gravel drive can also reach the century mark. Knowing these timelines helps you map out long-term maintenance and replacement costs.

Repaving strips everything down and starts fresh, letting you change the layout or improve drainage before pouring new material. Resurfacing, on the other hand, adds a top layer over a solid base, giving you a facelift without the need for a complete demolition. Go with repaving when the base is failing; choose resurfacing when the structure is sound and you just need a new surface.
