"I put in a request for septic tank pumping and the first contact (from other company) was crazy high. A Affordable Septic gave a quote that was extremely reasonable and they surely live up to the name. Marty came out this morning; on time or even a bit early. He was extremely kind and helpful. I would definitely recommend this company for anyone needing septic service. I pray God's Blessings on this company and its employees. John 3:16"

"Services rendered were terrible, communication was terrible, pricing was terrible. Overall I will never use this business again and will caution anyone I know from using them as well. I was told during my scheduling phone call I would receive a call from Mara the ow error to discuss my specific septic system and concerns I had regarding it. I never received that phone call. Come the day of my scheduled service I receive a voicemail at 9am asking if the crew can come early, I did not respond because I am unavailable till 1pm for our scheduled service and I want to be present while having strangers on my property. The crew shows up 30 minutes after the 9am phone call and completes the work with no one around and zero ability on my part to guarantee the work is completed correctly. When I called to discuss why this was done and why they did not follow our exact scheduling agreement or why I never received a phone call from the owner regarding the work to be completed she was EXTREMELY rude, raising her voice and essentially telling me that I am an idiot who does not understand the service industry or her business. As a customer the service industry is about pleasing me the customer and Goodman Sanitation failed miserably to do so. Mara and her staff have been rude, disrespectful and argumentative and cannot provide me proof of the services rendered and are instead charging me based on the word of their technicians which I do not know and do not believe. Goodman sanitation is a complete joke and I would advise anyone to look elsewhere for any septic or plumbing related needs."

Additional phone - (360) 695-0789. Additional fax - (312) 505-5050. Additional email - service@238heat.com. Additional contact name - Mark. Serving residential and light commercial needs since 1932. OR CCB# 1884. Please note: "24 Hour On-Call Service" is available.
"Associate who came out was very professional and thorough - no complaints there. The D rating is solely for the price we were charged for a simple service call where the situation was only assessed but absolutely nothing was repaired or done to the water heater. This visit cost us $109.00 for the trip charge and another $196.88 for looking at the heater for a grand total of $305.88 which seems excessive for a visit without any repair being done. Will consider very carefully whether to hire this company for a suggested heater replacement because I am not sure I will be be charged a fair price for the work."

Wastewater from your home from your showers, toilets, sink drains, and washing machines flows to your septic tank. When wastewater enters your septic tank, it divides into three parts sludge, water, and scum. Outlet and inlet pipe positions and baffles keep sludge and scum from leaving the tank. Wastewater, the effluent, moves down pipes to the drain field.
If a septic tank is not pumped, it can lead to serious issues. The accumulation of sludge and scum will eventually overflow into the drain field, causing blockages and system failure. Pipes may become clogged, leading to sewage backups in your home. Pumps can also break due to excessive buildup, and the drain field may become damaged, requiring costly repairs or replacement.
Signs that your septic tank needs to be pumped include unpleasant odors around your property, slow draining sinks and toilets, gurgling sounds in the plumbing, and sewage backups in your home. You may also notice standing water or damp spots near the septic tank or drain field. If you observe any of these signs, it's important to schedule a pumping promptly to prevent system failure.
Septic tank odors are typically caused by gases produced during the breakdown of organic waste in the tank. If these gases escape, it can indicate a problem such as a crack in the tank, a clogged drain field, or issues with the venting system. Odors can also result from overflows due to a full tank. Addressing septic tank odors promptly is important to prevent more serious issues.
You should pump your septic tank every three to five years, depending on factors like tank size and household size. Larger households generate more wastewater and may require more frequent pumping. For example, a family of four with a 1,000-gallon tank may need pumping every three years, while a smaller household with a larger tank might extend to five years. Regular maintenance ensures optimal system performance.
