"After the big spring rains, water began seeping into my basement at several locations. I could see tree roots encroaching on the sump pump and assumed that drain tile was clogged resulting in water pressure strong enough to seep through the joint between the foundation wall and the floor. Tim explained that tree roots should be killed off with copper sulfate and that seepage was likely the result of cracks in the foundation wall that are covered up by the drywall. He said a single leak can appear in multiple locations as it travels along the 2x4's anchored to the floor. We talked about how I could go about finding cracks. He showed me the machine he would use if I decided to have him clear out the drains and warned that the silt and debris may tear up my sump pump. "This is the first time I've hired a plumber, after owning my house for 44 years. My main sewer line was clogged very bad and our one toilet and drains no longer worked. This happened late on a Friday afternoon. so I called Mike Wagner, described my problem and he said he could check out the problem at 9:30 on Saturday morning. He told me not to use the toilet or drains overnight, since the sewer water would probably drain down. He arrived on time Saturday morning, assessed the problem (the water did drain down, as he said it would) and indicated he wanted to add a PVC clean-out behind my house and then rod out the sewer line to the street. He gave me a verbal cost estimate and said he could have a crew available to do the work on Sunday morning. He said we could use the toilet and drains sparingly until the work was completed. On Sunday morning, Mike and two helpers arrived to do the work at 9AM, he gave me a written quote, which I signed and they had everything done by noon. I paid for the work with a check, since he doesn't accept credit cards. Everything was completed quickly and professionally. The price I paid seemed a little bit higher than I had expected, but considering the work was completed quickly on the weekend, I can't complain. I was very satisfied with work that they did and Mike included a warranty, in case anything should go wrong, he would stand behind his work."

"EXCELLENT! The pipe clogged on a SUNDAY AFTERNOON, of course. Water was leaking into our basement! I started looking for someone with 24 hour service, and no one could come out. Then I got a call from IL Sewer and Drain. Joe said he could be out in about an hour, it was already after 4:30 pm. He came out, and was able to unclog our pipe! But upon inspection, the pipe needed to be replaced. He was able to schedule it for the next morning! The work took a few hours, but was all finished and cleaned up! I would not hesitate to hire them again or give them an outstanding reference."

"I first discussed this job with Patrick in October 2018 as they were out to remedy an issue with my old catch basin and I wanted to budget for the basin. I got an estimate and called in February 2019 to schedule to get the work done. Patrick was responsive to the request to schedule the work. They got all the materials upfront and I paid half at the start and the balance after the completion. It took two days to complete the job. They also added new main drain line from the basin to the house. They camera inspected the line before leaving. I also got a 10 year warranty that is transferable if I sell the home. This is the second job that Patrick worked on at my rental and I am happy with the work and cost. Also he looked at a slow draining sink for us. Patrick is very knowledgeable and reliable."

"Charlie’s was great when I got him. But since I called him and left messages and never received a call back so I don't even know if they're still in business or not. He did a nice job, nice fair price. So I tried to re-contact him when I had plumbing issues and I haven't heard from him not yet. I would use him again if I could catch him. Yeah if he'd answer the phone yeah sure I'd use him again. He was great. Oh I don't remember how long it took, so other than that I don't know how long it took him."

"Once they located the main drain line, they did a really job of clearing it out. However, they left the debris from the drain line in the front yard and left deep tracks in the front lawn from their equipment."

"Well. I have a sewer backup system that Permaseal installed in 2012. Never had a problem with it and it solved my sewer backup problem. I am supposed to have it inspected annually. I skipped a few years by laziness. They inspected this year. All was in order. They did however recommend that I replace a pump that is beyond its expected useful life and also batteries that are beyond their life. Those will be done in September or October. At same time I asked them to look at a floor drain in an unfinished portion of my basement. Water had come up. They diagnosed that my kitchen sink was backing up into the floor drain and fixed the problem by rodding the pipe under the floor drain. They were prompt and efficient. I also arranged to prepay for 5 years of servicing."
