"I bought a new Chevy Bolt. GM had a promotion going where they pay for part of your home charger installation. They hired S&S Electrical to do the work. Wes was easy to communicate and seems to have done a great job with the installation. He's very friendly and was willing to explain to me exactly what he was doing."

"I hired Jeff to replace an exhaust fan in my upstairs bathroom. During our preliminary meeting, he provided me with the appropriate measurements to search for a replacement unit. The day the work was scheduled, he was on time.. overall I was very pleased with the results. Before leaving, I told him about a light fixture just outside the bathroom that wasnĂ¢ t working. He was able to identify the problem which turned out to be a defective switch. He had the part and was able to repair the light fixture for a small fee. He was very professional with the work he performed."

"They work with you when a problem arises. Example the the light I had purchased was broken and they waited till the next light came. And when I had told them that it had arrived unbroken they send me someone on the same day. So I how have light. And was changed a very little amount for the second visit. And that is very great to find a company that works in this manger in this day and age."

A truly skilled, well-equipped professional with a truck full of parts that charges $100 an hour can be a much wiser choice than an inexperienced hack, working with inadequate tools and no parts, but charging much less. Often, more experienced professionals get the job done quickly with warrantied work.
2. Compare Travel ChargesRates reflect travel times. Travel charges can have a big impact on your costs and are in some ways easier to compare than hourly rates. Many electricians spend a third or more of their time navigating traffic on their way to a jobsite. Every contractor must find a way to pay for the expense of driving each day.
3. Bundle Repair Jobs TogetherWhen you feel it’s time to call a pro, review your list and then conduct a mini-inspection of your home. Look for faulty switches and dysfunctional or crowded outlets. When the electrician comes, you’ll save money and time by getting everything taken care of at once.
