"Very professional job from start to finish. We had a full redeck along with the full roofing system that Power provides. The quality of the workmanship is a lot more than a typical roof we were very happy to hear that we were going to have our chimney flashed in an appropriate way that diverted the water around it, along with a full ventilation system and following all of the proper codes for the job. "I needed a new roof, and I called them first because they were at the top of the list. At first, I thought it just needed repair, so when I called them they said they didn't repair what they didn't install. Okay. When I talked to other companies, I realized I needed a complete tear off, so I called them back and got an estimate. When I compared them to the other roofers, their prices were in line but their contract really bothered me. They devoted about 1/2 of a page to tell me what they would do in summary form but proceeded to use about 2 - 3 pages of CYA which made me feel they were really trying to protect themselves as opposed to providing me with a good roof. This REALLY put me off because I have never chased the lowest cost. Also, they called me periodically to see if I still wanted the work done."

"Falling down plaster in my small foyer ceiling directed my attention to the flat copper roof above. The wood support under the copper in the affected corner was rotten. The first roofing contractor from whom I got an estimate told me I needed to have the masonry repaired before the roof could be replaced. I got the first roofing contractor's name from an internet search. An Angie's list internet search for copper roofs did not yield any contractors. Fortunately I received the Angie's List magazine and saw PZ's ad which mentioned copper roofs. After getting the masonry repaired I got PZ's and another estimate. The one from PZ Construction was the lowest. Before I signed the contract I asked Paul if he could give me an estimate for another small roof. We corresponded by e-mail and after sending him pictures he sent me an estimate for the second roof which also seemed quite reasonable. The work was started the following week and took about 4 days to complete both roofs. I asked Paul about putting additional insulation in between the rafters before the solid core insulation was installed. He told me if I supplied the insulation it could be put it in at no extra charge. The 2 workmen who did the work took about 4 days to complete the job, working steadily and leaving the area very neat every night when they left the job. Working with copper is definitely a skilled job and the workmen really knew what they were about. Because the roofs were off the second floor I was able to see their progress and was really impressed with their workmanship. The first copper roof lasted 80 years which Paul said was about typical for copper roofs in this climate. I'm hopeful that PZ's roof will last as long."

"Tom was a professional from start to finish, and I immediately felt I could trust him and his crew to do the job right. Tom called me the same day I contacted them for an estimate, and he came to my house within a couple days to look at our roof, measure and provide an estimate. The roofing job was done within a week of initial contact, and we are very pleased with the quality of work, materials and price. The crew took time to tarp the neighbor's house, so as not to damage their property, and they left our yard, gutters and surrounding property spotless (from roofing materials, that is). Overall, we are very happy with the job Tom and his crew performed, and would recommend him to anyone looking for a new roof or repair."
