"We have used Pierce Excavating multiple times over the past 10 years. Since doing excavation work in 2002, he has returned to pour the foundation for my new home as well as install a complete septic system. In addition, he has recently returned to repair storm damage to our rather troublesome driveway. During this most recent project, Matt (the companies owner) recommended and installed a much needed drainage system for that driveway that has eliminated the need for constant repair. <br /> The work Matt and his crew has performed for us on all occasions has exceeded our expectations, come in at the estimated cost and has always been completed ahead of schedule. "They were excellent. Dug the foundation, set the cinder blocks, poured the concrete. Built it up from there. Put on the 10x12 addition with 3 windows, 8 electrical outlets, Pergo floor, painting and finishing molding. The owner as well as every one of the crew were respectful and dedicated to doing the job 100%. Even the siding matches! They put up new rain gutters and a new roof over the addition as well. They will come back once the ground thaws after winter to do the landscaping which was included in the price.  We will have them back next year to do some remodeling in the house. Absolutely wonderful experience. If you want a quality construction firm, this is it!!! <br />"

"In the process of obtaining bids to replace our driveway, I contacted Home Advisor who provided Countywide Paving as one of their recommended contractors. In addition, I received bids from several other contractors which proved to be either too high or too low, or failed to provide appropriate references. When Brian came to our home he measured the existing driveway and gave us a straightforward estimate which also including warranties. We were very pleased with the bid and hired Brian to do the work. A month elapsed between the first payment upon signing the agreement and the actual completion of the job. Brian contacted us the day before the scheduled date to let us know that the rainstorm on the previous day had set them back a little but that they would start late on the promised day and complete it on the next. The large crew was extremely professional, especially when confronted by an irate and irrational backyard neighbor who was demanding that they stop work immediately because of blatantly false claims he made about water allegedly draining from our driveway onto his property which caused damage. This neighbor, who has a long history of this type of behavior, not only engaged us, some of the workers, but Brian as well, who by all accounts dealt with him in a professional manner. Following that incident, the job was completed on time and we are very pleased with the results. We are certain that this driveway hadn’t been replaced in at least 50 years and the obvious quality of the new driveway is a vast improvement. The next day, Brian followed up with a phone call to me to discuss the work, the neighbor and whether or not we were satisfied with the job. I assured him that we were very pleased with the work and would be very happy to recommend him to others."

You knew she was very disappointed that she could not be there, as she designed the foundation window placements and had a big part in the doors and steps. Your crew was so kind and so professional and meticulous, that they knew that two particular windows were very important to my wife.  Your crew wanted to get them perfect and asked me some questions about them, that I could not answer. My wife was feeling better, but still in the hospital, and I called her on the phone, while your crew waited for me, as she and I discussed for several minutes the exact placement of the windows. Some minor changes had to be made and your crew could have easily just slapped the two windows in the new location, which was only slightly off of the original plan, and be done with it, but they stopped and pointed out where my wife originally wanted them and the new location difference and wanted to be sure that my wife understood the change, and wanted me to talk to my wife first. I was so very impressed that they made the adjustments on the spot that my wife suggested over the phone. I don’t think any other company would have gone through this much trouble to please their customers! <br /> You also were very respectful of our property, neighbors, and your crew were always very willing to stop and explain the process of what was going to happen next. Not one time did we ever feel like we were in your way. Actually, it was the opposite, we felt like you and your crew were very excited to show us your equipment and how it worked and actually wanted us around so we could see how it all worked and so we could see for ourselves how everything was perfect - and it was! <br /> We will always remember you and think of you so highly. Thank you for making the beginning our home building so easy and off to such a perfect start. There are so many things that can go wrong when redoing a home, and having it go off with such a perfect start gives us such great hope.
