Tao was very detailed in explaining what his crew would do, the sequencing of the coats of poly and how long before the floors could be walked on. He also gave us advice on ongoing care of the floors, which was helpful. His crew was friendly and worked hard to help us meet our deadline. They also did a good job cleaning up after themselves. He was very responsive, and after we discovered the original flooring wasn’t in as good condition as we thought, he explained my options. Cliff honestly told me most people would opt to just re-carpet, or he could patch and refinish but I most likely wouldn’t be happy with the results. I opted to totally redo the rooms with new wood. He took time with us, describing in detail the types of materials he uses for each stage of the process and explained pros/cons of some popular brands. Liam's team works quickly and efficiently. The scheduling process was very smooth, and he always responded to our texts/emails quickly and professionally. He confirmed the scheduled date a couple of times as it was approaching, arrived on time and completed the project on time as promised! One small logistical lapse that we realized in retrospect was that we did not finalize the details of whether the floor would be patched with a wood putty before the wood finish was applied. It turns out that, if there are a few imperfections that need fixing, this step is not part of a standard refinishing procedure. However, after we expressed this concern to Liam, he was accommodating and offered to finish patching the floor at the end. Overall, we highly recommend Liam and his team!"
