Shortly after starting the job I realized I may have the part but not the tools and/or skills to do the job. I consulted Angie's List to find a plumber who could do the job. Very friendly and personable and professional. After telling him what I wanted done and discussing a water pressure problem along with a marked slowdown in the amount of hot water coming from my kitchen faucet he went right to work. He quickly determined that the part I had would not fix the problem I was having. He suggested I contact the manufacturer of my faucet and see if they would replace my faucet under their warranty. <br /> He took the time to explain to me why my water pressure was not as good as it should be and what would be required to fix it. He asked me to call him back after I received the replacement parts and gave me an estimate of what it might cost to make the required repairs. He did not charge me anything for his time even though he was here at least 30 minutes. I was expecting a charge for a service call at least. <br /> I contacted the manufacturer of the faucet and they agreed to replace my old faucet under their warranty. I received the replacement parts and called Neighborhood Plumbers and scheduled an appointment. On the day of the appointment Larry called me and advised me he was on his way. He arrived early for out appointment and went right to work. Still very friendly and professional. <br /> He did all the required repairs in approximately 2 1/2 hours and left me a happy guy. It is very refreshing to find a person that does what he says he will do quickly and for a reasonable and fair price. <br /> I highly recommend Neighborhood Plumbers and am sure I will contact them again should I have any other plumbing problems. Petr was extremely competent and creative is some of the solutions he came up with to deal with issues of working in a 50 year-old structure. He redesigned the original shower tile layout plan on the fly to take better advantage of the selected material. Petr strives to perpetuate the sense of "old world craftsmanship" he brings to his job site, and succeeds wonderfully well!
