After less-than-acceptable experiences with other contractors, Adam and his crew are now our go-to guys for all things home-improvement. They built a 750 sq ft deck on the back of our house; repaired, restored and stained the deck/porch on the front; replaced the door and painted our underground storm shelter; and they're currently refurbishing our gazebo, including installation of a metal roof. We fully intend to hire them again when we begin our interior renovations. They're prompt and reasonably priced, with great integrity. Adam found he'd overestimated the manhours on a recent project and adjusted our cost down by more than 900 dollars. "First time job was done very well and all painters were very professional.  We selected a color from a little sampler which you couldn't tell what color it really was and when the job was finished the room looked pink, which wasn't going to work.  My wife was very unhappy about the way the color turned out so the owner was asked to repaint it and we would pay him and purchase our own paint.  He wasn't very happy but agreed to for a set amount.  The second crew had only one of the original painters with them and they did a much worse job by not covering the floor and so we had to clean up paint drippings, they left wide paint brush strokes next to trim on the walls and one of the workers used the bathroom and left it in a mess.  When we confronted the owner with our findings he became belligerent and said we didn't know what we were talking about and then stormed out the door.  We tried to find out what he was going to do to correct the problem and he would never answer our phone calls.  Later we went to the BBB he said he would talk with us about the problem but by that time we had our fair share of the nonsense so we have never settled the issue and to this date we refuse to deal with the owner again."

"The day the deck was completed, we had rain--and rain the next several days.  This is not good for fresh sealer.  Ronnie came out and did the deck over again at no charge (which I rejected and included a bonus to him for the extra effort).
He removed the patio furniture and put it back.  He communicated openly about what he could and could not do.
