"This project was very well executed, professionally and excellently completed. From the timely arrivals, the cordoning off of unworked areas, the process of polishing, restoration of problem areas and finally the sealing, the experience was highly satisfactory. And a learning experience as well. The work ethic is alive and well at Classic Marble and Stone Restoration; I was impressed by the attention to detail and the high standards to which they applied their energy. We are very happy with the result. I would highly recommend their services .
"

"I will preface by saying that I have had some very bad experiences with contractors. While remodeling my recently deceased Father's apartment these experiences were exacerbated by the facts that there were limited funds, a mortgage bank that wanted to foreclose on the property that limited the time I had available to me to get the work done and the property was located far from where I live. These contractors would give me an estimate for services, work three quarters of the way through the job and stop working, cause other problems that would require more money to fix, start complaining that they did not charge me enough to finish and/or stop communicating all together.

I was referred by my contractor to a counter installer that they work with, drove out there to pick a counter and, though the counter company had said that they had sent prices to my contractor, I did not get the prices for over a week. After that the communication between the contractor, counter installer and myself stopped, despite my calls for urgency and transparency.

The bank, New buyer, lawyers and Realtor were on my back. Terribly frustrated, I took an entire day to research everyone on the internet that provided counters in the area of the apartment, calling, emailing asking questions, trying to get price estimates and attempting to find someone who could measure, cut and install the counters within my pressured time frame. Frustrated even more, I went to Angie's List to see if I could get things moving. Angie's List had Stone n Counters listed with an 'A' rating.

I called Stone n Counters, emailed my kitchen designs, scheduled an appointment with them and drove out to see them. They waited for me to show up, even though it was Mother's Day weekend and I was delayed by heavy traffic. We went over my email, what I wanted in counters and my kitchen design. I picked the counter slab, picked my edging and got a price. I was very pleased with their no nonsense up front approach and that they were ready and willing to do the work quickly. All I needed was for the kitchen sink to be installed.

I called my contractor as I left Stone N Counters, informed them that I had to go with another counter company, told them that my sink really needed to be installed so Stone N Counters would be able to measure and set up the sink install for Monday. Monday I called Stone N Counters to schedule the counter measurement for that Wednesday.

I was able to get to my Dad's place on Tuesday evening to check on the sink installation and found it had not been done. I contacted the contractor while in my Dad's apartment and asked what was happening with the sink and the contractor informed that the sink was installed and was waiting for the plumbing. I proceeded to explain that I was in the apartment staring at the sink still in its shipping box and that tomorrow, Wednesday, was the counter measuring appointment. They said they would come out and install the sink on Wednesday! I said I would see them there.

Wednesday morning I called Stone N Counters and explained my dilemma to them, asking if it would still be possible to get the measurements done later in the day. They called me back as I was on the road and said that they had an idea and asked for my contractor's number. They called me back again, stating that they had spoken with my contractors and would meet the contractors and myself at the apartment.

While fraught with other challenges, the contractors did show up and install the sink, Stone N Counters did show up as promised to perform the measuring and get a template made as promised and the day eventually ended well with me one step closer to completing this project.

Stone N Counters called and said that the counters would be ready for install that Friday! They even worked out a difficult situation regarding the fact that my Dad's building had no service elevator and that the main part of my counter would not fit in one piece into the existing elevator. Their guys showed up as promised on Friday, helped me move appliances and installed and fitted the counters beautifully without a noticeable seem to accommodate the small elevator.

The work was quality work. The price was not the least expensive that I had been quoted on that particular slab of granite, but it was not the most expensive either. Their professionalism, willingness to work with me especially with the issues I had with this project, time frame from start to finish of the job, personal attention to detail and me as a customer and overall transparency as to cost, was exactly what I was looking for and appreciate in a contractor. Nothing was hidden. Prices were not changed. There was no moaning and groaning about how the job was bigger than they thought. Working with Stone N Counters was a completely refreshing experience. I will always recommend them to anyone in the NJ area."

"everything went smooth on replacing the countertops. I would recommend them anytime. I have had other experience with other companies that was horrible. You get what you pay for. The craftsmanship of BCG was great. From the office staff , the template guy, and install team, they all are very nice and professional. We couldn't be happier with the work they did."

"Cliff called me back quickly to set up a time (convenient to me) to come out and look at the job and offered me a price on site. He had some issues getting started on time (sick one day and truck broke down next day) BUT he called me and kindly explained the situation and worked over 10 hours the next day to get the project going so we could meet a deadline. He was professional, genuine, clean in his work, respectful to our property and did an overall fantastic job at a fair price. Cliff is a great guy and his workmanship is too! I would use Clifton's Tile Service again and highly recommend him."
