"CRT assisted in the decisions about flooring in our new home construction. The design representative went above expectations by drawing out our design plans for the tile in all areas of our home and explaining the many different carpet options as well. Erin was extremely knowledgeable about the products the company sells and about installation of the products. Erin was courteous and always answered all of my questions quickly. Erin was not up-selling me on products and truly listened to my design needs and my budget requirements. CRT has all levels of pricing and was below costs of what we found at local big box and home improvement stores."

"The first team came on time early Friday morning to do the install. They quickly realized that the salesman had measured improperly and they didn't have enough carpeting. We made arrangements for them to come the next day instead. That was kind of annoying but luckily I didn't have that much going on the next day so I was ok with it. When they did come the next day the 2 man crew did a very, very nice job and cleaned up very well. The carpet looks really good but has snagged in a couple of spots already. That was one of the things I specifically asked the salesman because we have a dog and a couple cats and i was afraid to buy one they could snag and he assured me that it was not going to happen with that particular carpet... I'm bummed and may call them back to see if there's something we can do. <br />"

We'd like to tell you a little about McKelvey Designs. We are Ron and Debbie McKelvey and McKelvey Designs is our family business. We started McKelvey Designs in 1991 after having worked with my parents and grandparents in our family business for 20 years. Hull-McKelvey Beauti-Pleat Draperies was a large, well known drapery business that covered the windows in many homes throughout Houston and the surrounding areas during Houston's building boom from the 60's until the oil bust in the eighties. At Hull-McKelvey, we worked with Perry Homes, General Homes, Village Builders, US Homes, and other builders by decorating model homes and providing drapes and blinds for their offices, "spec" houses, and their personal homes. We received quite an education in business and the home decorating field during that time. Debbie got her education in interior design at the University of Houston and Southwest Texas State University. We believe we have the experience to get the job done right!
